Hi again, we've just received a letter from HH. Freddie is in Clair Peters class & the intro meet up is 24th June. X

Hi, my son starts there this September too & I think a meet up is an excellent idea! Count us in. I think there are three kindergarten classes & we find out which our children are in at the official meet up. I've been meaning to chase the school to find out when that will be. Hannah (& Freddie) xx

I was handed a pamphlet by James Barber outlining these proposals on Saturday and I was surprised to read that the proposed site is at dulwich hospital. Even more surprised that to get the site, the proposal relies on Harris leaning on the department of health to hand over land to the department of education. At a recent meeting with Tessa Jowell I was told that the health center proposed for the dulwich hospital was in part to be funded by some of that land being sold off privately, therefore it would not be possible to build a school there. Is this incorrect? I'm no expert but it seems naive to me that in the face of all government departments facing massive cuts, one department might be influenced to hand over such a valuable resource as land to another. Creationism or not, Harris have a monopoly on secondary education provision in our area. We clearly do need a new primary but we shouldn't assume that the glossy pamphlets being handed out have all the right information and answers in them.

Hi, Perhaps someone in the area could contact the charity Celia Hammond. They are really excellent at catching stray cats and finding them new homes (or what ever is required for this mini-Lion!) x

Help! We've lost Peter - a much loved stuffed toy and 7 month old Freddie's favourite for cuddling. Now apparently favourite for throwing out of the pram. Last seen somewhere around North Cross, Crystal Palace, Ulverscroft, Darrell Road area. He has well sucked ears. Please call me if found or seen - 07949163277 Thank you!!! xx

Hi Jessica, You might want to check out the Home from Home Birth Centre at St Thomas's it sounds like it might be right up your street giving you the best of both worlds? http://www.guysandstthomas.nhs.uk/services/womensservices/maternity/labour/homefromhome.aspx As Ruth said most in our area go to Tommy's or Kings, but we do get a choice of three therefore you could look into the new Birth Centre at Lewisham. It opened last May and looks amazing. I checked it out and the only negative I could see was that if for any reason you need any unforseen medical intervention, you're in Lewisham hospital - which I'm sure is fine but it put me off slightly so I opted for St. Thomas's home from home (if anything unforseen happens you're just next door to the ordinary birth centre). Morning all, Just a quick note for all those able to join at the Gowlett tonight - my husband was there last night and they are CASH ONLY at the moment so we all need to remember to visit the cash point today (although I'm sure most people are far more organised than me and don't live on Switch!)
