We had turf delivered but we are 1 roll short, wondering of anyone can help us finish our DIY project. If you have some off cuts or a roll left from the past few days or upcoming days (knowing you have over ordered) we would be very grateful to pick it up. Please could you PM me or text me on 07794757166 (for quick response) Thanks Kate

Left my black old Dutch bike (low instep) on North Cross Road / Upland Road for 1 night and it has gone. It is very recognisable, as it has an old wicker basket with a white flowery trim on it, and some faded flowery panniers on the back. Its 22 years old, its old and rattly but am very attached to it. Photo attached is as an example only (mine has white flowers around edge of basket) - this is what mine looks like. If you see it, please can you contact me immediately on 07794757166? Would be ever so grateful if you could keep your eyes out.... Thanks, Kate

I left my bike on Upland Road for 1 night and it has gone... It is VERY recognisable: Its a dutch style old black bike, with low instep. It has an old wicker basket on the front with white flowers (trim) all around the basket) and 2 faded panniers on the back of the bike. Its old, but its mine and I love this bike. If you see it please can you let me know on 07794757166 immediately? Thanks Kate

Hi, My husband is allergic to cats. I've had cats all my life and really miss them in my life. Does anyone have experience with an allergy sufferer and taking on a hypoallergenic cat? I would love to hear any experience you have with this type of cat and the allergy sufferer. Were there minimal allergy symptoms? None? or just not as bad? I don't want him to suffer as I know it's awful in your own house, but just wondered if there was a solution out there. I cannot commit to a hypoallergenic cat and then see what happens... for either the sake of husband or cat. Any sharing of experience would be greatly appreciated - ideally via PM. many thanks, K

Hello fellow EDF'ites I have a nearly 7 year old daughter who would love to do a team sport. Are there any friendly teams out there for her age that get together mid week? Hockey, football, netball... we will give anything a try! Thanks, Kate

Composite - NEVER any regrets and is cheaper than quartz. Looks fabulous, doesn't chip and cleans soooo amazingly well. Can put hot pans on, doesn't stain and so easy in every way! -

I saw him up there and no large lady in sight... So glad they got him down safely; it was such a frightful sight. -
Hello, We are organising a fabulous charity event in the spring of 2016 and we are looking for 5 local children's charities to get involved and support. We want all proceeds to go to these local children's charities. Please can you help us by nominating a charity, telling us a bit more about them and your involvement and as to why we should consider them? It must be local and it must support children and their families. (We are not looking to enagage with the larger ones). This unique ED / Dulwich / Peckham / Nunhead community fundraising event is going to take place in the spring of 2016 and it involves an outdoor activity for both children and parents. Many Thanks in Advance, The Little Disco Company Kate Batty and Clare Newman

Hi, we are starting at Goose Green nursery and I was wondering if anyone fancies meeting up before the official starting date of the 21st September. Let me know and we we can arrange to meet at Goose Green park (the green) with our little pre-schoolers - after 9am and before 3pm in the next few days. Kate (mum of Eva Rose)

Hi, If anyone has any good recommendations for a large family accommodation / house / cottage / that is suitable for 6 adults and 6 well behaved kids? And kind of reasonably priced.... I would greatly appreciate any ideas. We have searched the usual websites high and low, but are unable to find something for 4 nights - it is over NYE (30 Dec - 3 Jan). Hi, Having just started Reception at a local school I am being inundated with birthday party invitations.... all at weekends. Now as flattering and kind as it is to get an invite, the thought of spending every weekend in a hall surrounded with (lovely) little people, it is a little daunting. Let alone twice over one weekend... And yet I don't want my daughter to miss out because I don't feel like it. And now of course I have my own daughter's birthday party to organise.....BIG DILEMMA! Would it be a total disaster to organise her party on a weekday afternoon? Say 4pm-6pm? What are your thoughts as parents on this? Would earlier in the week be better? And how would this work for kids who attend after school clubs? Or would a weekday party actually sound good / convenient for you as Dad / Mum could pick up after work? I would love to have other parents' thoughts on this!! Thanks, Kate
