Hi All - just to let you know we came home last night to find out our flat and the one above had been broken into. The f***ers managed to jimmy the lock on the front door then kicked the internal doors in. Laptops and cameras (with some sentimental photos on them) stolen and other items destroyed. Happened at the top of Goodrich road - if anyone saw someone with a blue holdall yesterday afternoon (they stole my bag too)- between 12pm and 6pm in the area - could you PM me? Also - if anyone is offered a panasonic lumix camera - (with the SD card still in it!) can you let me know too. Bit of a warning to all householders - make sure you have decent locks on your doors and windows and make sure your internal doors are not sh** like ours were....getting new ones today.

Anyone else got really poor water pressure this morning? Or is my boiler just knackered.....

Firstly get rid of the crap waiting staff. recently went in and recevied awful service. they need to take account of people who may want to order items which are not exactly on the menu - example: my mrs wanted a bacon sandwich (they have bacon baguettes on the menu) to be told that it was not possible. I asked - do you do wholemeal toast - answer "yes". so then can we have a bacon baguette without the baguette and have toast instead. Answer - No......WTF not??? just back form Australia on holiday where the service was impecable in every eaterie we went to. Secondly - get a proper breakfast menu. the choices seem to be either pre-made croque (with salad and vinagrette????) or full english with different versions. what about porridge, granola, pastries etc etc. eggs benedict would not go a miss either.

went the day we moved in (afvter reading great reviews) - was average at best - that was six months ago. have been once again and again thought it was crap. dont understand what the fuss is about. cold chips and soggy batter. not nice. was going to give ti one more try...but actually why should i????? hmmm.....

Hi - Does any one know if any of the local schools do night classes? cookery or languages?
