    I'm so with you on both the dog poo on the streets and cat poo in the garden from neighbours cats. Don't miss the neighbours cats poo at all Now we have moved. Only have horse poo on the roads to contend with! 😂

    Minh... Of course you may ask your question, I wasn't answering it!! I was adding another question and true statement. I'm glad you started this thread as I do feel residents that live in Dunstans Grove are on another planet in regards to parking. There are no parking permits nor restrictions for people who do not live in the Grove so please don't state who can and can't park there.

    Hi there is a drama class that happens at Goodrich school over the summer who accept childcare vouchers. I also agree, so many kids clubs who don't accept childcare vouchers. They are a great initiative but sadly are wasted if no clubs are willing to take them as payment.

    Just out of curiosity, have you ever heard or met of such residents? Dunstans grove is full of residents who think their grove is a private road. We all pay road tax and so are eligible to park there.

    Thanks, she is slowly on the mend. Luckily no wait at A and E... She was that bad. I also like my docs at forest hill rd but the receptionists ... Well!!!!

    I really feel for you. We were in the same situation two weeks ago. No gp appointments so sent to Peckham. Prescribed penicillin for her tonsils. Ended up in A and E that night....pneumonia. Just a slight difference!!!

    Just wondered why this has moved to the lounge as it was specifically for Upland and Friern Road residents and not a general post about trick or treat. Can somebody explain? Thanks.

    Just want to say a big thankyou to all of the kind people in Upland and Friern Road who offered out sweets last night. You must have been up and down to your doors for a good two hours!! My kids had a great time. Thankyou.

    Chick, I can be very sure. Perhaps your 11 year olds are in a different category to the ones I am talking about.

    Sorry.... But I doubt it was Goodrich leavers. The title did say drunk girls. Wouldn't expect this from 11 year olds. Please take care of who you are pointing the finger at.

    Yes the hotel at butlins in Bognor was amazing. Activities to keep everybody busy. However after about the third day there it was all very repetitive. I think 2 weeks might just send you bonkers!!!

    Thank you fat cats and first mate for your responses. I will try to investigate further. However I only hear the dog in this statein the evening and being unable to get out then due to sleeping little ones I'm not sure what I can do. I will ask neighbours though. It was interesting reading the older threads , so thankyou. I just hope the dogs haven't been stolen or are suffering.

    For several weeks now I have heard a dog(s)barking and whining as if in distress. It sounds as if its coming from the corner of Dunstans Road/ Balchier Street. This is not a nice sound to be listening to when trying to get to sleep as it makes me worry for the dog(s). Can anybody help discover who the dogs belong to and if they are in pain. Thanks
