A big thumbs up from us too for Lukasz! He did a fantastic job of fitting wood panels in a bedroom, splashback tiling, fitting a coat rail and other assorted jobs. Lukasz is very hard working and takes pride in his workmanship. He responds promptly to messages, is very polite and punctual. We will be looking to employ Lukasz again in a few months to do some extra work.

Tom did a great job for us last week hanging a large mirror and pictures, including a number that were hung in an awkward stairway. He worked tidily and efficiently and also gave me advice about where to hang each picture. I would definitely recommend Tom and would use him again.

I'd recommend Nico as well. Problem with our shower that had decided to give only cold water. Unfortunately required part out of production and had to have new shower which Nico installed promptly. He made a couple of visits and kept in touch while we waited in vain for new part and then new shower.

Thanks for all your replies particularly tfwsoll . The envelope contained a letter,which unfortunately is now falling apart and has to be put together very carefully. It talked about food stamps and life after the war. Thee was also a post card which is in better shape which I'm attaching for those who are interested. Thanks again

We have found a letter addressed to Miss C Fyer ( poss Tyer,Iyer or something else ) in an old bit of furniture. As it's a local address we were wondering if anyone knew the lady or the family . Just curious. photo of envelope attached
