Ia it not worth considering asking the brother in law/sister to actually introduce themselves to the family. We all know how diffiult parenting can be, maybe what they need is some support. If it was the case that their neighbours were 'stepping over the mark' in some peoples opinions, could this be due to difficulties in coping? if this was the case then a) perhaps offering some support would give them the space they need to respond to their children differently, or b) bear witness to any further wrong doings that may be going on in the household that they could alert the social services accordingly.

My little one went to water babies from a few months old, they have a technique that they do beforehand whereby baby knows when its happening, (certain part of a song) and they do it when the baby is confident and the parent also. I was useless as not confident, and i think that's important. If they not keen best not too, could scar them for ages afterwards. One teacher (not waterbabies) used to let them dunk when they had a cold, as it decongested them, must say it did work.

half moon montessori is great. The staff clearly love working with children, my son thrived there, don't let the miniscule playground put you off, did put me off first time round,a nd the long holidays, but so nice to have local friends in the area who all use sunray park..... never a dull moment. -

bobbly replied to bobbly's topic in The Family Room Discussion
yes same person, great, is he trying to cure the allergies, or is he someone who finds out what you'r allergic to then advices you to abstain? you may wish to pm me with the information, thanks -
Hi I have been recommended Dr Choi in wimpole street for my sons food allergies. Does anyone have any experience with him? Could you pm me with info please? Many thanks would be much appreciated.

my son is allergic to cows milk, but is also allergic to goats milk also, its the protein in foods where he is concerned. I think perhaps Lou Lou your blood tests will hopefully show if your child is allergic to goats milk also. May be best to wait until your results come before testing anything. Allergies apparently can worsen if you keep consuming the harmful foods. I have been recommended to a specialist who apparently has 'cured' an allergic child. I will let you know details if you are interested. My son has been going for allergy tests for 3 years no, not much change, so I am tempted to try this specialist, but my guess is he doesn't come cheap.

Descriptions are good so long as they are detailed descriptions. Those were not descriptions, i think even xone would agree with me there. With regard to the info re death in police custody. look at this link........ http://www.irr.org.uk/2002/november/ak000006.html Have you ever questioned what the shrine outside Brixton police station is for? -

so its it ok on this forum to use racist inflammmatory language used by tarot????? he really is stuck in the 70's (who uses the 'h' and 'g' word these days? where are the moderators, and who can guess what tarot will come out with next.... the words politically and correct stand to mind....soooo predictable. whatever he/she says, i've no doubt it will resemble the contents of my stomach, and smell like my waste products...yes tarot, people of colour eat and deposit in the same way that you do, but don't regurgitate it when trying to express an opinion.

Was going to respond to you Tarot, but felt that i had far more important things to do, time and waste spring to mind.

yes i would be interested, will have a glut of pears, not much else this year, but will increase the crop. Peoples supermarket comes to mind, but happy with this arrangement too, if its easy to organise, maybe the peoples supermarket can be established from something like this?

Thank you Pam50! Never in a million years did I think i'd even be taken seriously let alone find the info I was after. Tremendous.... this is when I absolutely love the forum. cheers and listings too! you are a star!

hhhhmmmm that would work if i even knew the time of day let alone which station i was listening to, I have started listening to radio london sometimes of late.... dont know why its pretty rubbish!
-
I know this sounds strange but i am gonna give it a go. As i have a very loud, very vocal young boy, i dont often get to hear the radio properly. I mi8ssed the title of a recommended film of women talking about their relationships with men, ie brothers fathers as well as husbands and partners. Its a recent film I think and it came very highly recommended. Does anyone know what on earth I am going on about and can they help me track down the name of this film so that i may go and see it before it leaves town. Cheers...... A shot in the dark ?I know but you never know?

that's great. i found the manager/directress a really poor communicator. Any concerns you may have she talks over you, doesn't listen, is extremely defensive and in my experience is quite economical with the truth. She was dismissive and her heart didn't seem in it. Took my little one out after a year. There is a distinct lack of joy at that place in my opinion. She seems to care more about the cash than the work, and It seemed a bit dirty when i went to look around. Also what's with the montessori sweatshirt???? Unless your child is there on a Thursday there is no need for it. They don't take them out in them. At least my child never did, it was always at home and they never asked for it once. Besides they sold me a second hand one and charged me the full price. Really not impressed.
