  1. I paid the ?40.00 back in early March. Still no Sticker Have been through to Southwark Council 4 times. They confirmed by email they had received my payment and I should get my Bin Sticker by 21st April. That is tomorrow. Don't know if it's down to Royal Mail or Southwark Council DulwichFox
  2. I have just had my first Cataract Op. 12th April. I had it done st St. Thomas' It took 24 minutes. I went for Distant Lens (0) which means I will need Reading glasses for close up Need to wait for other eye to be done before I can get Prescription Reading glasses' Very awkward at the moment using PC and Iphone. Have to put Eye Drops in for 1 month.. 4 times a day. 2 lots for the first week, My distant vision is Brilliant and I can see the TV well without any glasses.. Better than that I can read the Whateley Road sign opposite the end of my road from outside my house. Most people opt for a Distant lens implant. Foxy
  3. The Coverage was extensive.. Not something that could of been put together in a couple of hours after Prince Phillip had died. IMHO this has been in the Can for Months waiting for the poor fellow to pass away. #Shocking.. DulwichFox.

  5. Before The first Lockdown I started buying My Loose Leaf Tea from Fortnum and Mason from their store in Piccadilly. Amazing Shop and Not as Expensive as other places on Line. This one is one of my Favourites. Royal Blend. Another is Countess Grey. A milder form of Earl Grey. Both ?12.50 for 250 gr 8.8 oz. in an attractive Caddy which can be refilled with Loose Tea at a reduced price. When cars were allowed to pass through there were more people around. Now gangs hide in doorways .. Urinating .... Drug Dealing ... and more. attacking people and robbing them.   14. I have been in touch again with Southwark Council about our Garden Waste Brown Bin Stickers. I have been told that There is Delay . Brown Bins WILL still be collected as usual and Stickers should be sent out by April 21st 2021. Please do not hold you breath.. DulwichFox
  15. I have a friend living in Bexley, She is having the same problem there with her postal services.. Not just East Dulwich and not entirely to do with Silvester road closing and moving to Peckham.. My Parcel (small enough to go through my letter-box) sent First Class took 11 days Woking to East Dulwich.. Foxy
  16. My Parcel has just arrived.. Sunday I dont believe it.. I saw the Mail van outside my house and as I got up to have a look the van drove off. Surprisingly .. The parcel was Just small enough to go through my letter-box. 5 dough Scrapers .. 1 Grignette With spare blades.. 2 large Proving Cloths .. 'Essential' utensils for my Sourdough Bread Making 11 days First Class Post.. I really had given up on it ever arriving... so Don't give up.. Foxy
  17. I still have my Habitat Teapot from Arthur Wood which I bought in 1980 ish. Used to have matching Wallpaper in my Kitchen back then. Amazing after 40 years it has not been Broken. (Fingers Crossed) I can be pretty clumsy. Foxy

  19. I am waiting for a Parcel to be delivered.. It was dispatched at 07.00am 17th March Royal Mail First Class Delivery... I have a tracking number but when I click on TRACK it just says 'An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item' Tried calling Royal Mail ... Eventually got a message saying They are busy and call waiting time is Over 30 mins.. I tried but gave up after 12 mins.. have tried several times to get though. 30 min wait time announcement seems to be generic ? it never changes . Foxy
