Hi Steven... You are quite new to the Forum. I think you will soon find out that you will need to try a little bit harder to wind people up here on EDF. Fox

2 - 3 Houses on my Road Badly Damaged by Tree roots involving expensive repair jobs. Trees need to be more than 15 feet asway from any building. Bigger trees should be further away.. Apart from damage caused by roots, as trees grow they block out a lot of light. If you want to see trees.. go to the Park. Foxy

Keeping the Market open gives the impression that things are back to Normal. and that it is OK to stroll around eating Street Food and having a good old chat. Closing the Market will bring it home to people that we all need to 'STAY AT HOME' and only venture out for Essentials. Things are far more serious than they were in Early 2020. People seem to believe that having a Vaccine available has made it Safe to go out. DulwichFox

Hog Roast Man Was there today. Selling Food .. No Mask. As were some Other Traders Selling Food. Most Traders were wearing Masks. Crowds of people not wearing masks I do not believe Hog Roast is an essential commodity, I have survived for many years not eating it. I do not consider ANY street food as Essential. Buying Eggs.. Vegetables and the like to take home is a different matter. The Market needs to be closed until we get out of lock down. (March - April) if we are lucky. Too many people and very little social distancing. DulwichFox.

Whatever anyone thinks about My views, it doesn't matter. It's done and dusted. At 23.00 Uk time we left the EU. The majority of UK Citizens got what we voted for back in 2016. The Minority Remainers will have to deal with it or move to some European country and recind their UK citizenship. Happy New Year to all. In or Out. Let us hope 2021 will be a better and safer year for everyone. The World.. The Earth.. You cannot put it together.. It is together. (The Whole Earth Catalogue 1968) Fox

I'm NOT worried about Brexit. I have no problems with Travel To or Through Europe. I have not Travelled to Europe since 1992 and have no reason / need to do so. If I have any desire to Travel in the future for Holiday purposes I will pay any Visa costs. Hardly a Problem. I have concerns that Remainers will do their best to Sabotage future events to return this country to a self-governing democracy managing its own affairs. They will NOT succeed. It has been a very long, very costly 47 years. Just wish I was younger to enjoy a very prosperous future. DulwichFox.

How many times have we heard people say "It doesn't matter who You vote for. They are all the same " Well. To some extent that was very true. Why ??? Because we were not in Control. Brussels was in Control. Now it Will matter who we vote for. Why ??? Because We will be in Control. And if who we vote or get it wrong. Then we vote them out. We have our country back. It's up to us. Madness.. There will be so much waste after Christmas.. Every year in the UK, approximately 7 million tonnes of food is wasted. Just during the Christmas, 2 million turkeys, 5 million Christmas puddings, and 74 million mince pie get disposed while still edible, causing almost 270,000 tons of food waste in total during this widely celebrated holiday. 9 Dec 2019 It's a disgrace.. I think we are seeing the delayed result of the 'Eat Out to Help Out' Promotion. The 'Tenner Off' campaign . Local Restaurants were Rammed.. Social Distancing virtually non-existent.. Foxy

I have lived on my own since 1985 (35 years) Between 1993 - 2012 I did spend Christmas Day with my mother. She did not eat or drink much and it was a mainly dry affair. I have no family.. My mum died in 2012. I have no brothers or sisters. I have spent the last 8 years on my own on Christmas Day. I do not see anyone or speak to anyone. This year will be no different for me. Foxy
