  1. Feel better now?
  2. It could be a number of things including 1. Low power signal from the cabinet 2. Faulty box or even an old box 3. Depending on what TV you have, the box my be having trouble upscaling if you have a large HDTV I have added 3 links below from http://www.chetnet.co.uk/portal/ The site isn't your usual cable TV forum but is run (unofficially) by current and ex Virgin/NTL staff. They are excellent and can help you get to the bottom of cable TV or cable broadband problems. They have helped with my TV problems when the engineers had no clue Link 1 Link 2 Link 3
  3. Peanut butter is also very good in traps!
  4. What poison do you use? I have always found rat poison (grain covered in poison) to be the most effective one. At least they are still taking it anyways.
  5. If the concil own it then that can resurface it. That part of Homestall from the Tunnel works, up the side of the reservoir is actually private road. I could not find any direct evidence other than a Thames Water Design application which mentions it. I remember viewing a house for sale on that stretch a few years ago

  7. but without twitter how could I post this... http://twitpic.com/and0f Reminder - Goodrich Carnival and Summer Fair from 1pm tomorrow
  8. I tweet but then I also use facebook. In fact my tweets update my facebook status. It is worth being on twitter just to follow dulwichmum! I am certainly not as obsessed as some and only follow about 50 people who are a mixture of friends, celebs magazine columists etc.
  9. Leyton Orient, Brentford (went where a couple of years ago in the cup). Then a little further afield - Southend, Gillingham, Colchester
  10. My brother and parents have bought 2 season tickets between us. I tend to go down with my eldest (17) and sometimes second eldest (15) mainly the evening games. My eldest will try and go down with a friend on Saturdays probably my coach. He is trying the coach out for the first time at the weekend for the Ajax game (we are fortuate that my parents live there still). On occasion I have gone down on my motorbike. We definately go to some london games especially the very local ones.
  11. LOL - I know what you mean! You going to get to many games this season, Fear 'n boozin?
  12. What else is there outside the Premier League other than the Saints!
  13. I did wonder if that was a skate basedbid! Anyhow, hopefully the only way is uo now.
  14. The problem is it was damn difficult to survive with a crowd of only 15,000. Whilst most appreciate that the Dell was a difficult ground to play at, it was not expandable to the club had to move. Even Pompey are struggling financially and one factor (apart from them being s**t) is almost certainly the small capacity of their ground.
  15. Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone for their support. I have managed to raise over ?3000 plus ?650 gift aid for the Lymphoma Association. Without my supporters including people on here, I would not have acheived such a fantastic amount. thanks guys!

Err, yes it is. Have the skates been saved from all their debts yet which are huge? ;-) 4th richest club in english football now but our new owner has said he will be careful with his spending. Have to say that it is a relief. We just need a decent manager now. Consolidate this season and go for promotion next.

None of this denies how > horrible the building is of course. From what I remember this house sufered badly from subsidance and had to be shored up for some time. It was also on top od a hill. They had to dig very deeply to set the foundations of the new flats which, I guess is partly why they are so expensive.
  18. Our Ocado shopping came today. Would still love a Waitrose in ED though.
  19. Go for Virgin on cable if you can. Means you don't have to worry about all this MAC code stuff as its a different system. Good deals at the moment.
  20. That is brilliant news. I thought I had a torrid time during my chemotherapy20 months ago so I know it can be difficult. Your time sounds much worse and I admire your strength through it. It can be very frightening having no immunity, it great that you got the support that you needed The haematology department at Kings is fantastic clinically and the support they offer is wide ranging but still personnal. Well done!
  21. Isaac Watts, though that was a few years ago ;-) Paul Callaghan from the Apprentice 2007 (who was apparently very close to another contestant Katie Hopkins Hugh Mitchell (colin Creevey in harry Potter)
  22. Oh dear Newcastle - I am not sad (tee hee)
  23. but is it a reduction if it does not already exist. I frequently use Nunhead and would agree that the Victoria service at the moment is a pain - I generally use the service the Elephant instead and that even goes strainght to St Pancras, Kentish Town, Luton and St Albans now.
  24. I only filled up there last week with no problem. It is a bit annoying as it is the most convenient for me.
