He came to my house today too. Said it would be 10 quid and then 5 per month. I only came on here to warn people, and now see that I'm not the first. I said I wouldn't give him any money until the work was done. He said his guys couldn't take cash, but would turn up at 4.30, then he would arrive to collect payment at 6.30. It is now 6.47 and I haven't seen either him or his imaginary friends... Feeling smug I rumbled him, but I could easily have trusted him and paid. Verdict: con man.
