I have recently been tricked by a lady asking for money at my front door. She says she lives across the road and is out of electricity and needs to borrow some cash till the evening. She is dressed smartly and is very covincing. I have seen plenty of people on this forum have also had her at their front door. I was recently with a group of 6 friends all living in Camberwell, Peckham and Dulwich. We realised that she had visited 4 of us and had managed to take ?40 from just our small group alone! Point is she is prolific and an expert con woman. So be aware.

This lady knocked on my door today, 24 June 2010. Mcdowall rd se5. She is black, tall, slim and smart. She was very embarassed to be disturbing you, almost crying and in need of money for the electric meter. She said her name was Lisa and she lived a few doors down across the rd. She was totally believable and asked for ?22. Lots of eye contact and apologetic. A great performance, a pro con artist. She will get caught one day.
