or thats how it feels. I am sick to death of the mountain of food flyers and estate agents crap that comes through my letter box every day. It has just got absolutely ridiculous. I have a daily routine of gathering them all up and marching them off to the recycle bag. I never look at any of them. It seems to be more than ever and they should be banned. and relax.....

What about foxes...are we allowed to attack the little beggars? One of them jumped out in front of me on my bike tonight and nearly had me off it.

I am older than I care to think about Narnia... Lyrics probably better but instrumental stuff is good as well. I have used some Michael Nyman stuff, this for example. listen to it, its lovely. -

Ah- I see that link didnt show- it was you might imagine from my what I said Better- by Tom Baxter. Bob- That would seem reasonable but I am the one who shoots the photos, picks the photos to use and decides what music is best to accompany them. Its part of my creative vision - not theirs. If they have a particular piece of music they like I dont mind doing it separately. -
As photographer who often has to create small slideshows for my wedding clients I am on the hunt for music that has a certain feel to it. It has to be romantic, not too cheesey tho, a great melody and ideally a strongish finish. It needs to be appropriate for accompanying a narrative as I shoot from early morning to dancing. Possibly the best example of this I have found is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_h_wZQjVvY Dont worry if the song you may suggest is short, I can stitch a couple of tracks together. My music knowledge is not all that large so would really welcome any suggestions as randomly trawling the net is not bringing up the right sort of music. ' songs a bit like Tom Baxter's - Better' doesnt seem to bring up anything of much use . ;) Many thanks Philby

need a bit of advice about going to India in late feb...
Philby replied to Philby's topic in The Lounge
Hello everyone, Goodness. Thankyou. I dropped by wondering if anyone had posted and there has been a most generous response. I shall Pm some of you individually.. Thanks again. Good old EDF... -
I want to go to India, late feb for about 10 days. Never been before. Im a photographer. Varanassi looks like a nice place to shoot. I want to go on my own, find an interesting place to go, not get ripped off, get around unmolested and generally have a great time mooching about taking street photos. If anyone wouldnt mind talking to me a bit about this Id be grateful. Pm me a phone number if you are cool with that. Ive never been and it seems a bit of a daunting place... Thanks alot Philby

wow, you know an impressive amount about this sort of thing! I have no idea what exchange Im on. How do you know what number you are on? It has improved again now to be fair. yesterday was ridiculous and I have had a lot of 'drop outs' BT do say there will be a settling down time again but then they have always said that...

BT are fobbing me off doing 'diagnostics' on my line at the moment. The fact that my broadband speed is increasing dramatically during the early hours and then slowing to a crawl peak time is telling me its a general problem due to local useage. Im around Landells road. Is anyone else having problems at the moment? I can barely send an email from 10am-10pm at the moment.
