  1. Hi everyone, I'm an experienced executive coach and the founder of a 15-year-old leadership development consultancy. This week, I'm offering a complimentary 1:1 Zoom coaching session as part of a professional development assessment, and I’m looking for a volunteer who fits the following criteria: ✅ A senior-level leader (Director or VP) ✅ Working in a larger, for-profit organisation ✅ Open to exploring a real leadership challenge or area for growth during the session ✅ Comfortable with the session being recorded solely for my assessment (the recording will be kept confidential and anonymised) In return, you’ll receive a high-quality coaching session at no cost. To get a sense of my approach and impact, please send a PM and I will share link to my LInkedIn profile - where I’ve been fortunate to receive over 50 recommendations from past and current clients. If you're interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please drop me a message. Thanks so much, BC
  2. Lesson learnt. Won't let the kids succeed in twisting my arm next time!
  3. Mine is also over 6ft and I have no idea how to cut it. Who did you pay to collect? I would appreciate a recommendation as I can't find anyone that is still collecting. I imagine there are others in the same position who just end up dumping outside. legalalien Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The trees on our street were collected on Monday I > think, they left mine, presumably because it?s on > the large size (not a monster but I guess it might > be six foot one or something). 4. Hi all, hope it's okay to post this request here. My husband is the founder of London Drone Film Festival taking place at the ICA on 23rd May. http://www.londondronefilmfestival.com His team are sourcing promotional items to go in the attendee goodie bags and I figured it might be a great opportunity for some local businesses to promote their products. If you have products/services that would appeal to an audience of filmmakers, directors, drone pilots and the media, and would like to take up this offer, please get in touch and I will facilitate an introduction.
  5. Flagging this site in case you hadn't heard of them: https://www.2to3days.com No affiliation...
  6. Grayshott in Surrey: https://www.grayshottspa.com/ Rowhill Grange: http://www.alexanderhotels.co.uk/rowhill-grange-luxury-hotel-kent/ Both great although my preference is Grayshott.
  7. We recently hired the barn at Herne Tavern and the service was excellent!. It was nice to have the option for the kids to run around outside the playground (weather permitting, of course). Highly recommend.
  8. e-dealer - I apologise for missing your question and for the confusing title! I promise I didn't come up with engagement audit as a title but worked with it anyway. My client was looking to check in on engagement levels in their teams (as a follow-up to an employee opinion survey). Fortunately, I found a pilot team (via this forum, I must add). Hope that clarifies it for you, albeit too late. Mick - the intention wasn't to take advantage of free advertising although it always helps. Best wishes to you two.
  9. Great cause! Thanks for sharing the film. Will donate and share with contacts.
  10. Another vote for ESPH. Had physio with them when I had SPD with my 2nd pregnancy and my husband has also had physio with them for some back pain. We both highly recommend them. Best wishes, Obi
  11. I'm happy to speak to him and help him clarify next steps. I mainly support mid-level/senior-level professionals but I have extensive recruitment (graduate, consultancy & in-house) experience so can provide some complimentary guidance/direction/recommendations. Here's more information on my practice: http://www.objcoaching.com/private/career/ Best wishes, Obi
  12. Recently hired the ban at the back of Herne Tavern for a 4th birthday party. Not sure if you can fit a bouncy castle there, but worth checking. Rates were great, as was the service and it was nice for the children to have the playground area as well.
  13. Teams found. Thank you
  14. For any Managers/Team leaders out there: I'm looking for a team of 4-8 members to pilot an engagement audit process I have designed for a client. At the end of the 2-hour session, the team will have an acknowledgement/recognition of their collective strengths and would have identified any development needs and how to start working on them. Criteria: team must have a common purpose/challenge, be based in London and can offer a minimum 2 hours of their time. Here's more information on my Team Dynamics work: http://www.objcoaching.com/corporate/team-dynamics-coaching/
  15. Volunteer found. Thanks everyone
  16. Not something I have come across in London, but my brother and his family (in Finland) are in the process of swapping with his MIL for similar reasons. His FIL passed away a couple of years ago and his MIL feels the house has become too big for her. She would prefer a smaller (cosier) city apartment so has asked them for a swap. It means they can move to the countryside (near a beach and lots of parks) with their son and she can get closer to the city - to her workplace and friends. Happy to get you connected if it'll be of any help.
  17. I am working with a senior leader in banking to create a programme that combines coaching, mentoring and networking for female leaders in middle & senior management positions from different organisations. We are currently interviewing women in leadership roles to help us gain insight into some of the joys and challenges that come with their roles. The programme is being designed for leaders who are interested in gaining insight on their leadership and impact while expanding their network and supporting one another. Each cohort will be limited to 8 people in total, to ensure confidentiality and an optimum group size for learning. To help us with the design and development, I am looking to interview women in leadership positions (30 minutes over the phone) and offer a complimentary 30-minute telephone/Skype coaching session as a 'thank you' for their time, if needed. Please send me a PM if interested and pass on to your friends/acquaintances who might be interested. Here's a blog I have written on Imposter Syndrome, one of the topics we will be reviewing as part of the programme: http://www.objcoaching.com/most-successful-leaders-are-frauds-true-or-false/ Thank you in advance for any support offered.

  19. Thanks again, everyone! We're also considering Chessington or similar. @Bellenden Belle: West End Show is very tempting. Will check what's showing.
  20. So...many options! I love the idea of tourist activities as she doesn't get into London often. I like the idea of South bank and a river trip, perhaps finishing off with a Hamley's visit for treats. Lizzi - the Family Sunday at the Royal Opera House sounds great. Unfortunately tickets are already sold out for that Sunday. Must be pretty popular. Thanks everyone!
  21. Thank you all for your lovely suggestions. I hadn't considered most of those options. I think I'll have to go for some activities for just both of us, and others with the little ones. Thanks again!
  22. I have my 11 year old niece coming to stay over for a weekend (last weekend in June) and I have promised to plan an exciting weekend for her (and my two little girls who are nearly 2 and 4 yrs old). Can anyone recommend fun activities/events in London for an 11 year old girl? She's great with my girls and is looking forward to 'babysitting' and helping with bath times etc. but I also want some special treats for her, especially given her brother & father are off to their annual camping trip to Goodwood festival of CARS! Our intention is to make our weekend so...much more fun than the boys';-)

  24. By the way, how is everyone getting on with the blogging? I'm on one blog a month at the moment, and that seems the manageable pace for me right now. I've just had my latest one on Imposter Syndrome - Are most successful leaders frauds published on a Coaching Directory. Here's link to the blog: http://www.objcoaching.com/most-successful-leaders-are-frauds-true-or-false/ Feedback always very appreciated! Any other updates?
