  1. Sebastian and peter did our bathroom last autumn. I can?t recommend them highly enough. Great Quality work, on time and great to have around the house.
  2. We live about 500m from the school and my children go there, on non church places (although my son got in over 6 years ago and so my other children have sibling places).I'd just say go for it. You have nothing to lose. Its impossible to tell year to year so if its your top choce just put it top of your list. If you don't get it you can wait on the waiting list until something comes up. Hope that helps.
  3. I often get 15% and 20% off from them. And if I hold out long enough, I have been known to get 25% occasionally. I only ever use them if theres a 20% offer. The other thing to bear in mind is if you don't mind slightly late delivery times, or delivery during the week during the day, you can often get delivery for free, or very cheaply. Hope thats helpful
  4. OK, so we finally know the results of the school that can't be mentioned. By the time I've written this it will probably be deleted anyway. Whats left to hide? We know the results are bad. Lets talk about it! DfE claim that Ofsted would not have had the results when they inspected the school. This would explain the 'good' grading. According to Ofsted criteria a school can't be graded 'good' unless they are over the national average. So what happens next? The school need to give some explanation as to what they think has caused the plummet (not a dip)! Current parents especially, but equally prospective parents need some reassurance that the school are aware of why the results are so poor, and what steps they are going to take for improvement. Reassuring parents with an official statement, rather than deleting threads on here and mumsnet would be a more effective use of the school's time.
