  1. Have other cars nearby been slashed? How many on ondine and Adys road were done? and which end?
  2. Either way you look at it, Southwark is the highest in London, and probably in the top 10 on the UK....and the "wards" don't have 30ft concrete wall circulating them........
  3. I too think it is a great idea and have already ordered mine despite the fim selection. Not steep at all and i am sure will be good fun.
  4. sicko - should have called the cozzers
  5. I have seen this nutter, she was outside scope near goose green roundabout she was going through every bag and just leaving such a mess over the street. So thoughfully I pointed this out to her....just got this daft look as if she was in her own world.....so made a sarcastic comment and left....if you see her watch out for all your charity stuff.
  6. "Seedy end" of East Dulwich - Very patronising.....
  7. all Grove Vale needs is a little attention, the shops are good and Shauns DIY has saved me so many times. The garden cnetre is very useful (shame it is going) and the new bakery is great. Dry cleaners and Shoe shop is great...also wich i have space for some of the furniture. However maxim chicken is rank
  8. Another horrific icndent practically on our doorsteps "The bodies of two men were discovered when firefighters were called to a blaze in a ground floor flat in New Cross on Sunday night. The victims, both French nationals in their 20s, were stabbed in the head, neck and chest, post-mortem tests have revealed. Officers have launched a double murder inquiry and have appealed for information. Emergency services were called to the building in Sterling Gardens at around 10pm. The fire was put out and the bodies found in the flat. Police have identified the men but their names have not been released. Detective Chief Inspector Mick Duthie said: "I am appealing for anyone who was in the area of Sterling Gardens at any time over the weekend, and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious near the address, to get in touch. "I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone near the premises around 21.30 on Sunday.""
  9. I agree Ratty.....easy to escapte move outside the m25 and commute in for work / days out...and that is it...and without a doubt i will be doing that by this time next year!
  10. This is getting really bad.....i think i will be moving out of ED next year....
  11. I sadly read about burglaries on this forum and really and i am in the mind set of expecting it, rather than not. Does anyone know of any current neighbourhood watch schemes...and if so where are they. Failing that surely with the forumites we can form a very strong ED watch. Maybe a new section on the forum landing page wholly dedicated to "Neighbourhood Watch". What are everyone's thoughts? Can this work? will it help tackle and reduce this? Can we name and shame people and ensure the police leverage this forum to get clearer messages out to our community?
  12. hmmm good guidance guys thanks.......i too have a car I am selling, need a simple in and out....but obviosuly do not want damage to the paint work.....Are there any other good places local as it is a nice car and I don't want it damaged.....thanks again

  15. I live near Ondine Road and think the road is very nice, one way street, quiet new street lights and all the houses look pretty smart and continue to be improved.....pretty smart cars parked on the road....I would love to own a house on this road.....This poses an interesting question to all. ED and Peckam Rye are practically the same place unless i missed the west bank style wall.....
