  1. hI, Aston Do you do things like pressure washing as well as all the other DIY stuff?
  2. Sadly I dont recommend Gary Vu either. He charged more than he quoted for and he damaged our walls because he put the light switch in the wrong place and then tried to blame us saying that was what we had asked for.
  3. I have been looking online on and off for weeks and have never come across a clear answer like you have. Fantastic, thank you very much ianr.
  4. My internet searches show up conflicting results. And if Lidl do, has anyone here used it?
  5. Hi handymaneast. Are you doing inside jobs yet? If so will you be wearing gloves and masks? Thanks.

Whilst here, can something be done about inconsiderate jogging? I now have returned to using the bus instead of walking because I feel it's safer on the bus rather than on the street with joggers coming up close and panting in my face or from behind brushing past me. Thanks.

  9. It's still not clear why the Gowlett had to shut down. Does anyone know? Being a regular customer there it will be deeply missed. And it's alwaysbeen the best place to have a pizza.
  10. Looks like something that might have fallen out of a wheelbarrow or a skip eg
  11. Hi , what do you charge? Thanks.
  12. Apparently we are the 10th friendliest cycling country in Europe http://road.cc/content/news/84883-uk-ranked-europes-10th-most-cycle-friendly-nation.
  13. I want to find out how much it cost to put this tacky array of lights in. The money could have been spent where it is more needed like improving on Southwark's libraries.
  14. On Saturday, someone tried to distract me at the cash machine by shining one of those high-powered lazered green lights on the cash machine and around it. But I stayed focus on what I was doing because I kind of realised that this could be a trap to get me to turn around in order to take my attention off from what I was doing. I think Sainsburys need to get a grip of the problems that are happening at that particular branch and they do have a duty of care and I hope that Sainsburys reads the EDF.
  15. I read somewhere that "foam cups" go into the blue bin . So I would put polystyrene trays in blue bin.
  16. "There is much to do, and it is not just a question of gaps in policy; in places it is inconsistent, even incoherent" "A much more coherent and credible plan for supply-side reform to improve the long-term economic growth rate of the UK economy is now needed." Who said that? Ed Miliband? No. Ed Balls? No. The Tory Andrew Tyrie. Says a lot.
  17. Nets are you serious?

  19. I was debating with a friend about eating salmon and the environmental impacts. Questions: 1. Which is better for the environment? 2. Which is better for human consumption?
  20. Ralee, so where were you when all this was going on?

I do agree with you Jeremy. Women have a poor record of entering the IT industry. I remember from my time at university in the mid nineties in a class of about 20 there were about two females. And I believe that that figure hasn't changed a great deal speaking to friends who are now lecturers at university. In IT roles there are very few women, not only in the UK, but abroad as well. It just doesn't seem to appeal. But, I guess it if was baking cakes, that figure would be the other way around.;-)
  22. The slippery slope of inequality and discrimination in this country?
  23. Who says it's a male who is the perpetrator of this misery? Are you saying that females with all their PMTs are not capable of such distorted behaviour? How dare you put this crime at a male's door KILLAQueen!!! ;-)
