  1. I know parents who have children in Goodrich primary. they have said they have not been impressed by the head teacher.

  4. is there any benefit from the "sport " model? im going to order an ergo im tired of getting the pram out when all i need to do is run to the shops for something.
  5. pavements were icey in upland road yesterday not sure what its like today. took baby out in the pram to the shops but walked slowly.
  6. Hi we had the baby bjorn carrier when little one was born which was lovely.. I'm just wondering if people can recommend a carrier for a child 12 months+ or would should we not bother? baby duchess is still crawling dont think she will be walking till about 14 months......
  7. Gave birth looked out of the window and the first flurries of snow came down (xmas 2009!!). didnt give birth at Kings. The ward appeared a bit thin on the ground with staff but everything was fine overall.

Ive had an "attempted to deliver " card through my door this morning I have been in all day with my little one. Has anyone rung or knocked on my front door? No!!

  14. my mother in law who is swedish/ norweigen, said she used to put my husband and his brother!! when they were little in tights or long johns.
  15. Im sure in Norway it is the norm for little boys to wear tights?
  16. we are moving to Kent soon and I agree with Smiler. would love to stay in ED but as the area has improved so the prices of properties rise. Schooling is another big concern when good schools in ED become over subscribed. we will also be 1 hour away from the city.
  17. hi edanna, I put milk (formula) in a sippy cup for her one day and I didn't get a good response from my little one. however, she will drink juice/ water well from a cup. thanks malbourne i will look into NUK.
  18. Can anyone advise me on a brand of bottle that my daughter can hold, perhaps something with a handle? also, I have heard that at 12 months little ones can shift over to cows milk? need some other mums advice on this thankyou!!
  19. Just wanted to say we have just completed a term of sing and sign and it was brilliant. After trying a couple of groups in the area, this one was the best. Sadly we wont be able to make it to the Christmas party as we are moving .

  21. the way you describe your son sounds exactly the same as I was. I say Different courses for different horses!
  22. I never "got" maths and still dont. I had so many private maths tutors, I even went to an adult education centre to see if that would help and still didnt take to it. I was stronger with languages and subjects where I was "hands on". If Im out and about and im struggling with something im just honest with people and apologise that my maths is terrible. Or, I get my husband to do the maths and I help him with his spelling!!

  24. Worked for Sainsburys online shopping service. They were a nightmare department totally disorganised, they do there picking instore. Tried Asda home shopping, and was laid up in bed with food poisoning for two days and had a 4 month old baby to care for. husband rung up to politely report it, and they were not interested. Used Ocado, Fantastic. One hour delivery slots never had any substitutions. if they dont have it in stock they will tell you at point of ordering.
