I am going to do pregnancy yoga as i don't want to freak out again when the pain kicks in like it did with my first. X

Can anyone recommended any books regarding homebirths? Im really considering this as an option as im expecting our second child. I did go into hospital with our first as i didn't know what to expect. The birth of my first child went fine I just couldn't manage the pain and ended up having an epi dueral etc which I really want to avoid second time round. I have my midwife appointment this afternoon so obviously will talk to her as well.

I think steamers will get the creases out of clothes but if you want the pressed look on formal shirts etc you wont get that

Will have a look at the decleor brand. I know a friend of mine who has just hadansecondnand she said she is suffering from stretch marks and loose skin. However she has not breastfed and i wonder if this has not helped?

Hi I used bio oil with our first child I still managed to pick up some stretch marks. We are expecting again and i was wondering if there are any lotions for stretch marks that anyone could recommended?

Our two year old dosent cry but gets up a knocks on our door till one of us gets up!? We have to settle her back in her bed I think they just need reassurance at this age? The funny thing was on Saturday she went all day without a nap and we still had a bad night with her...

We've been trying to introduce potty training to our daughter who turned two last month. When she is at home I take her pull up off and let her run around "bare bottomed" which is fine she will use the potty and toilet when she needs it with no accidents. She recently started nursery two morning a week and i gave the staff pull ups as i knew she would be pretty shell shocked starting nursery and didn't want to go cold turkey on her and take her pull up away at this point. I spoke to a member of staff at the nursery who asked me what I was doing with regards to potty training, and i explained we are slowly introducing the potty and she does fairly well. She explaned that with children there is a window when it comes to potty training and that it be an idea to get going with it as we didn't want to miss the opportunity?? Don't know if this is true?? I have put underwear on my daughter and tried to toilet her at regular intervals to which at times she point blank refuses and two seconds later she will walk off and do a poo or wee in her undies?? I don't know how we can transition from nappies to underwear???

Does anyone find that the 15 hours week is too much for their child? The nursery I am looking at stipulates that you have to sign up for the full hours 15 hours

I had really bad vomitting/ nausea in the first trimester and I was being sick during the pushing stage of labour sorry for the detail! Hormones are funny old things, id say if things get bad keep in touch with the midwives or a doctor. Try and drink lots of water if you can especially if you have diarrhoea

Just started to toilet train my 23 month old daughter which is going well. I find if she is underwear and nappy free she asks to go for a wee now. I tried putting kickers on her this morning and then we have accidents because she thinks she has a nappy on? Has anyone got any idea of how I can teach her that knickers are different to a nappy ?

My daughter will be two next month and since going into a big bed she has really changed. Our afternoon nap has completely gone and she climbs into our bed in the early hours of the morning.

No white ri gs when my baby had a fungal rash? She was prescribed a mild steroid cream which cleared it right up

Nymom, thanks for letting me know about that. Its funny because the BA website actually states you can use cares harness on their flights! Im going to print it off and take it with me case there is any opposition. It is also civil aviation authority approved?

Hi guys, I rung british airways to get some advice on these carseats and when I finally got through they were not very helpful. I have just ordered on amazon the the cares harness, asked for it to be fast tracked so i can get it delivered before we go. I don't feel happy with sitting little one on my lap during take off and landing. We have to take the car seat anyway as we re hiring a car the other side. Can we check the car seat in with ba?

We wanted to but british airways seem to have strict guidelines for carseats. Will our toddler have to sit on our lap during take off and landing even though we have paid for her to have a seat?

Okay, flying to italy on Saturday with a 21 month old. Thought we would take our mama and papas car seat for the flight. just rung BA and have been told it has to be an FAA approved car seat which its not!!? Does anyone have any experience of what we might need to do?

Could you ask the nursery if your husband could go and have a look at the nursery? Maybe that way he could see what benefit it would have for your son Im in the same place I have registered my daughter for a pre school place but wondering if she should do a session or two at a nursery in the mean time.
