  1. I worked with a midwife and she recommended wrapping plain cold mashed potato (without milk or butter!!) in some gauze, then apply to the area for about 30 mins. It worked!! Swelling really went down. Sounds utterly gross, but having been in your position I was willing to try it. Also gave me a reason to relax for a moment.
  2. Hi My health visitor suggested starting weaning with something light rather than the starchy stuff. She recommended cutting up a yellowish coloured pear and boiling it in a little water. Then blend it with the water as this has all the vitamins in it. Try baby with this for a week to see that there are no reactions then try the next week with an apple such as golden delicous. If there is no reaction to this you can then mix the two fruits to jazz it up a bit. Go onto veg after this.
  3. I don't know if you can help with this, but a number of times when I have checked TfL for train times they have been wrong. This happens so often that I leave an extra half an hour earlier just in case. Also train time tables seem to be like gold dust. Thanks for going out of your way to hear our comments
