Please be aware that after places come out in March approximately 50 of those given Charter will actually not take the place as they will be going privately. Really, nobody should panic. The `catchment' area actually hasn't shrunk at all in fact I don't think if you take these places offered often between April and June into account.

I've just had one and a half grand taken from my Halifax account in installments over last two weeks. It had been taken from a n ATM on the Cape Verde islands in Cape Verde escuodos! I too use Sommerfield a lot and cash points in ED. Only 6 months ago my card had been cloned and used in Morrocco too. You do need to really examine your statements etc carefully - if you have a disorganized approach to financial affairs as we do it may take some time for the penny to drop!

I had a letter today asking if I had tried to take money from an ATM in Morroco!! The bank had declined it so all is well. I use my card around here in Somerfield, Budgens, cash points etc. . . there may be a connection or maybe this fraud is just happening all the time everywhere and is even internet related! I have my card, it hasn't been stolen, just cloned. . .

Have been told by man in Costcutter, Eurofoods or whatever, that the Bombay Bicycle Club will be a takeaway and will be next to the Plough in the shop that used to be an Indian.

I've been tipped off that it may be M and S who either are after or already have purchased this site. Can this be true? Am gobsmacked as live round the corner and this would have serious implications for parking, development generally in the area, etc. Would there not be any consultation? Does anyone else know anything about this?
