Hi I had a VBAC 9 weeks ago after having a EMCS with my first... I can honestly say that despite episiotomy and connotes it was a SIGNIFICAntLY better experience from both a birth and a recovery point of view. I actually kind of enjoyed it!!! No real pain relief (some G&A on route to the hospital) and I felt amazingly in control... It was a very emotional experience to see my baby come out of me and be able to hold him straight away... Cannot recommend vBAC enough! I also really commuted to the hypnobirthing this time as I was also quite anxious before (like you, also naturally a bit anxious about things!) - it was really useful - I felt totally in the zone. I did a specialise VBAC hynobirthing cd which I could root out the name of! Happy to chat if you want, just PM me. Good luck whatever you decide.

I reckon do both to really get the message across although I assume if just one, writing to the head of midwifery may get more attention. -

Swimming during the week with a 2 year old - where to go?
neilly1973 replied to SebsC's topic in The Family Room Discussion
We swim with Karen at east dulwich, she is a very good teacher... Would recommend. Not worth the money on private classes as they teach the same thing... -
My daughter is at little jungle and we are very happy with it... Their response to waiting lists does appear to be poor as I've heard this from a few people but once in, it's very good and has a real community spirit. I've moved out of the area and decided to keep my daughter there because I can't imagine finding a nursery locally I will like as much.

Love aneto! He is the friendliest man around... And very kiddie friendly despite little space for prams... -
I have heard a rumour that Kings may withdraw the funding for community midwife case loading... Has anyone else heard this? I had both my babies with the lanes midwife practice and cannot imagine other expectant mothers not having the opportunity to access that level of care... Most of my friends and family who live elsewhere cannot believe I - had all my appointments at home - knew my midwife - in fact Erica was present at both my births in some capacity - had an unbelievable level of support before, during and importantly after the birth of my children. Both times I had feeding issues and I wasn't discharged until they were confident both me Andy child were on track. Because of the service I was lucky enough to have I went intoy Labour happy, confident and secure in my ability to 'do it!'. They also supported my choices. Kings should be setting the tone for other hospitals ands king this time of servi e available to More new and growing families not withdrawing it... I've heard just as many positive things about oakwood and the brierley too from friends. Has anyone else heard this? I am thinking of writing to the head of midwifery as someone who has benefited from a community lead service to try and stop funding being cut...

I didn't get very far I'm afraid and are doing research minus recommendations now! Also looking at getting one built by a gardener! Good luck! It certainly looks expensive if you want it properly insulated!

Hi We are thinking of building an office/small studio in our garden - has anyone done this or got any advice? Is it best to use a builder/chip pie or buy a kit? Any advice would be very welcomed!!! Thanks
