    Bring on the CPZ, but limit it to a couple of hours / day, Mon-Sat as is done in other neighboring areas. Works wonders to reduce the parking issues for local residents which currently are quite bad in East Dulwich. I dare not move my car during the day as when I return its virtually impossible to find a space on any of the local streets.

    Thanks. Party went on until 5am. Will be reporting them to the housing association that manages the property and the police even though retrospective. Disgraceful. Must of Been at least 10 people and only 2 live there.

    Thanks all and the background is quite informative. So my theory of it being brought from some remote spot in Canada has been disproved. I like the real story better.

    Hi. Does anyone know the history of the totem pole next to Peckham Rye Park? Photo attached. Wondered if it was made locally or maybe imported from somewhere like Canada or maybe Alaska.

    Not to side-track from this interesting thread, we had a box of fruit/veg "taken" from our front porch area Sunday morning. I would venture to say someone coming in through our gate and "taking" the box, which was outside our house, was indeed theft. Very disappointing. Sorry the cam was not yet installed to capture the culprit. I wonder if they made their get-away by micro scooter.

    Same rhetoric. From Sky website: "INC2030149 Fibre Broadband problems in BALHAM, SOUTH CLAPHAM, DULWICH andFOREST HILL. You might not be able to get online or make/receive phone calls due to a problem in your local area. We've identified the problem and engineers are on their way to fix it now. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused."

    The Picturehouse is a welcome addition to East Dulwich. No it's not cheap but going out to see a movie is a special occasion and I would rather go there then further afield. Also it's in walking distance so reduced carbon footprint.

    Coop is a terrible market not just because of its sloppy management = unsafe shopping isles. I would love to see it closed down. Bring on M & S !

    All supermarkets like Coop should have a manager present. It is his /her responsibility to keep the store clean and well stocked as well as manage the employees. I have never seen a manager in the Coop.

    I have taken it once this week at 7.30, instead going via Victoria from Denmark Hill. Other then horrible bus coming back from Denmark Hill to Lordship Lane not too bad. I agree though that the 7.30 on Tuesday was not too bad except once we got to Peckham Rye when it was overloaded. But, Limited trains to / from ED and LB make the commute very challenging. If you don't time it just right, you are in for a long wait.
