  1. well that was crap. 2 planes i saw (from my roof in central london). if that was the US there would have been a whole squadron.
  2. SNT - They came to see me, only after I had to get local councillors involved (they ignored a dozen calls over 2 months) I contacted anyone I could find who had ben affected by vehicle crime and had reported the crime. The SNT initially tried to deny anyone in SE22 had reported a vehicle crime, until I proved I had reported 3 thefts and had letters to prove a further dozen.... They promised to come back to me within the month. Silence. Not even a cursory appology that they are not pursuing it further. I am sorry that I have to say this, as I was a supporter of the initiative, but Staff Sergent Charlatan & his buddies are more concerned about getting the next cuppa in then fighting crime or getting involved with any difficult to solve crimes. Feet up chaps. ConDem cuts heading your way.
  3. Just as a warning to whoever is pinching petrol, I was going to scrap my ancient & knackered scooter, but changed my mind. Its all taxed, insured and filled right up with diesel. Help yourself.
  4. 2 issues: Boredom for the kids Legal minefields for the police
  5. Pls report it.
  6. pretty much any road in London?
  7. a wall that forms part of a boundary is (I believe) exempt. A wall that forms part of a structure is not. It all comes down to foundations. If they dug a 5ft deep hole first, its a building. If they dug a trench and filled it with concrete, its just a wall.
  8. Perfect - Can you ask whoever is doing this to pls consult the streets surrounding the space? Dunstans, Donkey, Hillcourt Mount Adon etc? Even a flyer through the door would help make people aware as it could be a fantastic asset to so many more. Sorry if this was not to the right person, but you are the only person who seems to get things done. TJ
  9. I think Jack Wills is pitched a little younger, with Aubin & Wills pitcher higher. Agreed with cate that the pricing structure is very lopsided and I am sure as a growing brand this is part of a future strategy. sophiesofa Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Jack Wills is for rich Bristol University students > IMO
  10. I bet you said that when the concept of web 2.0 was explained to you... all very anachronistic. 11. I had absolutely no idea it was a nature reserve. I stand corrected in that case. It's a shame a neighbour who uses it regularly has no idea about these things. It would be great to see a little more information put up. I would still lile to see the a from Donkey alley across to mount adon as the current track its very unsteady for anything other than walker (I mean a pram / buggy, not scrambler or 4wd..).
  12. Jack wills is absolutely perfect Dulwich demographic, not ED, but as most of Dulwich shops here now it makes sense. They sell to public school kids. Nothing wrong with that, if you are going to pitch to a market, it might as well be one with a disposable income. Also, regarding the posts above - 'the shop site is opposite Dr. Boo, Hope & Greenwood, Blue Mountain cafe....' sounds like a perfect store position to me. Mater can get her nails done in Boo while Theo and Imelda can get new togs for Bestival.
  13. Report it.........
  14. I would but there are so many threads already in there and something like 30 pages to trawl through to find an answer, so being a lazy sod, I started a new thread....
  15. Dear Mr Barber, I see some basic works taking place along the road side, but is there anything that can be done to improve this area? The entrances via Donkey alley or Mount Adon Park are a muggers paradise and are now excessively over grown, the paths at the top of the hill (if you can call that dirt track which most people use a path) are hopeless, the access from the road similarly poor and really, considering the location, this should be a great local play space. As is is, the only creature benefiting from it are the local foxes. A small play park would attract a huge number of local families and be a great play spot after school. It seems that such a fantastic space, with some of the best views of / in London is ignored and is simply not being made the most of. Best TJ
  16. Personally, If i caught someone breaking into my car, I would happily smash their front teeth out with a large metal rod. If i could hit their balls out their asshole too I think it would be a good job done well.
  17. Jamma - take a closer look. Doe sit say No Football or a no entry sign? The Herne is football, the palmerston not.
  18. Pls see this links here http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,410374,426084#msg-426084
  19. Pls report this to the local police team. Yo need to make a real stink about this or it will continue. They also seem to target certain vehicles, so time to move somewhere better lit and in the open. Also, park with your fuel cap on the road side, not pavement.
  20. There has been a lot of vehicle crine of late. Pls search my posts on vehicle crime and you will see all the details for the police: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,410374,page=1 There is a link to the police where you mMUST report this. If you dont report it, they do nothing about it. Even if they appear to ignore you, the crime is on the books and can form a pattern they will investigate. http://www.met.police.uk/reporting_crime/
  21. I notice PeckhamRose has gone all quiet?!

  23. Anyone else noticed this does not symbolise 'joined up thinking' when the various works were planned? I'm hoping this is a short sharp shock rather than a long protracted summer of non-completed works.
  24. Does anyone else have an overwhelming desire to climb on top of their car and rip the carera off the roof, followed by a Fawlty Towers style car-thrashing using said camera?
