Nice pub, but without stating the obvious, it doesn't offer enough. If you want dinner, you go somewhere else, if there is a large group of you - you go somewhere else, if you want to watch the rugby / football, the Magdala is best, if you want a lively night out, you go somewhere else. etc etc. It needs to catch up or die. Sorry for those of you who love it as it is, but as is clear, you are a small minority who don't spend enough and it is going out of business. Like you say, spruce up the garden & lounge, serve some simple food (not Brakes catering and something other than gastro) and maybe advertise and it could be ok. Plus the freehold should be no more than ?150k Oh, and move it 300 metres to LL.

I do this weekly. Best route (early morning flights) is south circular to clapham, through battersea, take a right onto trinity road, over wandsworth roundabout, up wandsworth bridge road, right at the end then left immediately to fulham broadway, up north end raod, take a left when you hit cromwell road /A4 then stright to heathrow. Pink elephant ?21 a day in business parking plus excellent shuttle. Panther cars will do a single trip for ?40. Public transport - don't bother. If you want to punish yourself, then Heathrox Express, then bakerloo line to charring x, then either on to Honor oak park or east dulwich depending on preference. Gatwick much easier. Honor oak park - East Croydon, East croydon - Gatwick. Don't bother with Herne hill, much slower.

I know someone called Titus Gabert which he will regret once he gets to school. I also have seen a hairdressers in Hackney called... wait for it.... It will grow back. Incredible
