  1. Thanks for the feedback everyone, I agree they are quite ugly and that is probably why i am reluctant to get one even though they do seem very comfortable. I shall keep an eye on the for sale section! thanks
  2. Hello I am considering buying a glider chair for breastfeeding and I just wondered if anyone has used one of these and if so what they thought? I am worries it might be one of those things you get sucked into buying for a first baby and only use a few times. Also does there seem to be much difference between brands? Thanks Louise
  3. I recently had a massage with Amy of www.thedulwichtouch.co.uk and just wanted to recommend her to any pregnant ladies like me for whom massage is a welcome relief from the strains of the third trimester. I was looking for someone locally and found Amy on this site. She is really good and nice, and very competitve on price. She is also really flexible with the treatment and can modify it if you need extra time spent on your back/legs etc. It was also quite reassuring to have someone who is qualified in this field, so no contractions are triggered before time etc! She does do other types of massages too for non-pregnant people. Hope you enjoy!
  4. All booked for 7pm thurs, they said it is fine for some people to eat and others just have a drink. Lou
  5. Hello all, hope you are looking forward to next week - thought I should book an area now as it is getting quite close. I don't think many people have confirmed this event on the facebook group so from this thread, current people hopefully attending next Thurs are: Kerry Claire Katy Lou 'reren' Jilly Susan (poss) 'supergolden88' Han Helen Penny I am sure if anyone else decides to come along nearer the time we can fit you in. I will book a space. Also - last time I was in there I spotted a poster saying they sometimes do wine tastings on a Wednesday at 3pm and you are welcome to bring babies!! Guess that will suit us for our post baby arrival meet ups! Lou
  6. Yep Thurs 9th works for me. Shall we say Green and Blue at 7pm? Coming so far: Kerry Claire Katy Lou Anyone else let me know, just because if it ends up being quite a big group then I might give ring wherever we go to reserve a space. Lou x p.s. did join the facebook group but I am not very good at facebook! Would it be easier to set up one of those event invite things on there to keep track of who can make it? Anyone know how?!!
  7. Hi all, I can't do the 4th but can prob do the 11th or 12th. Another suggestion is that if it is difficult to find a Sat we could meet maybe one Thursday evening for a spritzer (not too naughty!) Somewhere like Green & Blue might be good as it has that quite large space at the back that doesn't get too busy. Looking forward to meeting up, Lou
  8. Thank you all for your posts,I'm expecting my first baby in Nov and don't feel 100% confident about a home birth but felt nervous that the hospital care at Kings might not be great. So these posts have made me feel very reassured. Thank you.
