Where can I collect berries/fruit?

There are masses of blackberries on One Tree Hill. -
Only six ducklings left today. And, in addition to the usual plump, well-fed looking heron, there is now a smaller, skinnier one. Seems that word is getting round in the heron community that there are rich pickings in PRP pond.

Mother duck on Peckham Rye pond still has eight ducklings as of this morning.

We will probably end up turning that bit of our lawn into a bog garden -- just hope the dragnoflies find their way there.

A spring suddenly appeared in the middle of our lawn in late winter/early spring. Like the new pond in Peckham Rye it doesn't disappear no matter how little rain we get. We have no idea what to do about it, other than making sure that it wasn't a broken pipe or sewer, which we did by calling in Thames Water. Maybe the water table in this area is rising.
