No but I have tried one of their sister branches at the junction of the A19 and Billingham. I went for carvery. As tasty as an old cock. Great view of the petrol station though.

Gaulthier in Soho. French influenced and great food. you can choose 3,4 or 5 courses, hand made chocolates thrown in at the end of the meal. There is also a tasting menu (both a meat and vegetarian version). The menu is a seasonal one and they have a Norfolk wild garlic risotto on at the moment which is delicious> Service is discreet but attentive and the Sommelier is very good and doesnt just recommend the most expensive wine. Its not cheap but it is a lovely treat.

Didnt Worzel have interchangeable heads? Now that opens a whole world of opportunity on the style front.

I think the problem is diminishable disposable incomes combined with shops that sell clothes which are designed to last a season. Its a pile it high and cheap approach to satify a desire to play with style. And for a younger generation who are supposedly concerned about global issues then this sentiment does not apply to clothes which are more often than not made in terrible conditions. I would rather save to get something nice than something made by some poor sod in a sweatshop. I always shop in the sales too. I sometimes go to dress agencies and my friends and I do clothes swapping parties when we can - whole new wardrobe for free. In the end I find high fashion is for the rich, the young and sometimes, for the non thinking. Occasionally all three are combined and the product is a harem panted puffer jacketed sloane on the Kings road. With massive sunglasses.

I have a guidebook, I have googled, but if anyone has any recommendations for things to do, things that are pretty overrated, any great little places to eat/drink then these would be very welcome! Thanks

I went to a hen day and we did a mini spa and afternoon tea in the Charlotte Street Hotel. It was lovely and very civilised. The CSH is particularly nice as it a bit more modern than say the Ritz. Doing a day also means that it suits all budgets and circumstances - a few of the women had children. If you wanted to do longer then you can do over night stays at spas. The hen dos I have been invited on which involve the hen regalia I have avoided because a) its all a bit grim and b) I am a miserable old trout.

My mother was a bit of a pants down in the middle of M&S red hand print type when me and my sister were young, but it was infrequent and only when were being particularly feral (which it seems we were in M&S) It was more the shock value. plus it was the 70s. I think there is a big difference between a smacked bottom and a slap round the face. I have seen young mothers bellowing at their kids, Lewisham town centre is always the worst, and the language they use and the menace is horrible. i said something once to a woman and got a right mouthful with the threat that I also might want some. nice. so now I will do the totally ineffective and british thing of shaking my head and rolling my eyes, whilst thinking these poor sods dont stand a chance with shitty parents. Child cruelty does make me feel sick inside and kids who are bullied in the home take it into school with them. I have absolutely no solutions other than enforced contraception until the age of 28 and then you have to pass a kindness and loveliness test.

If she is missing for much longer we will have to call in Detective Lund, and that could take weeks and many many false leads and the weather is getting too warm for those jumpers... LM can you be enticed with bakewell tart or perhaps a nice apple strumpet?

Spanish love poems. I didnt get those. Gutted Now I am :(

is there emoticon for plain disappointment? Belen made my life seem far more exciting than it actually is given that I was accused of being involved in a complex lesbian love triangle.

I am doing this at the end of the month - eurostar to paris, paris to madrid. i will let you know how it goes! Its not the cheapest way to travel - though we have booked a cabin thing rather than seats.

No he also has a head devoid of any flesh. -
I love the overground and even better I live in HOP so I dont even have to trek from ED to get to it. I knew I moved here for a purpose.

This is the only thing I am watching on the tv at the moment and I am almost beside myself that I have to wait another 2 weeks to find out who did it. Given the twists so far it obviously cant be Troels (is it me or is the way his name is said by his team just a little dirty). And why didnt the culprit clean up after themselves, that seems a bit of a serial killer school boy error. On the jumper - has it been stitched up since the knifing incident - I think the hole has miraculously disappeared... -
HOP is zone 3 and you can use oyster. Nearest Zone 2 is Brockley. I live on the street opposite the station and there is little parking on a morning unless you get there very early - since the opening of the overground there has been an increase in people parking in the surrounding streets. (i should say I have no vested interest in dissuading you from parking there as I dont have a car to park!) travel before 730 and you can often get a seat

Coutts has nothing on what Expobank will do for a price... google "Expobank calendar" for what their staff will do for you...
-
Citibank have this arrangement - I had one when I worked in Brussels. |You can transfer between accounts free of charge (though you need a sterling account too) i didnt rate Citi to be honest though and their customer service was not great.
