  1. Thanks for this. I did think of booking direct but the website wasn't very user-friendly. Could definitely live without a kettle if it would save me some cash!
  2. Thanks, that's really helpful. Eurocamp is slightly cheaper than Keycamp for the holiday we're looking at so we'll probably go with them, although I will look at Canvas too.
  3. I'm about to book our camping (mobile home) holiday in France. Does anyone have any views on which of these two companies is better? Thanks v much
  4. thanks v much
  5. I can't find my catalogue and think there's a current offer with 20% off and free delivery. Is anyone able to supply the code? Many thanks
  6. Thanks Mrs TP. I'm sure she'll be fine, I just can't help worrying and I wonder when it's going to end..
  7. She's 6 and has been unwell on and off since November- tonsilitis, then a tummy bug, then chicken pox over the Christmas hols. She seemed to be getting over the cp but then last week went downhill again- intermittent high temperature (39.9 today), very lethargic and has been sick a few times. I will of course take her to the GP but if anyone has anything useful to offer I would be grateful.
  8. Ah, that's good to know, Is that because it has three wheels or does he think scooters generally are uncool?
  9. Does anyone have experience of the maxi micro scooter versus the two wheeler sprite model? Looking to buy the next scooter up for my 6 year old and not sure which to go for. Thanks
  10. I have a few bags of baby and maternity clothes that I'd like to give to charity- does anyone know of any charities that need this stuff? I know that some ordinary charity shops don't take baby clothes. Many thanks
  11. Many thanks dollydaydream
  12. Does anyone know the times of msas on Christmas Eve and Christmas day? Thanks
  13. Hi everyone I have to agree with Fuschia. I have been to Gambado (too) many times over the past few years, and now just wouldn't go back. The customer service is appalling, the food is terrible and overpriced and the kids' party food in particular is disgusting. The one in Chelsea is equally bad in my opinion. The food etc may not be the main point, but my objection is that Gambado seem to think they have parents over a barrel and have no respect for their customers, who are paying a small fortune to be there. The difficulty is of course that young children love it! It's a real shame that there's no competition in the area, as this might lead to improvements. I looked into starting up a soft play type facility at one time, and would still like to do it, but it's difficult to find the right premises and the set up costs are prohibitive.
  14. Major Yes you are correct. If a company (the bidder) makes a takeover offer and the board of the target company does not support the offer, it is known as a hostile bid (and if the offer is ultimately accepted by the shareholders then that would be a hostile takeover). The alternative scenario is where the board recommends an offer to shareholders. Often a takeover approach is resisted by the board initially but eventually recommended to shareholders when the price is right (e.g. the takeover of Cadbury by Kraft).
  15. oops apologies, I'm such a technophobe- I meant to add this message to the existing thread on summer babies.
  16. Hello everyone and congratulations I'm expecting baby number 3 on 1st July. Already have 2 girls of 4 and 14 months, so going to have my hands full! Am not going to do any antenatal classes although would love to do pregnancy yoga if I can find the time. Would like to meet up at some point, especially with anyone who already has a toddler!
