Well it's kind of a classic. My old Y reg 230 CE needs a damn good going over before a trip to Scotland on Christmas Eve. Does anyone know of a mechanic able to take on the job? It'll need a good service and some serious checks of the creaks and rattles that have recently appeared before I take on the journey so if anyone knows a decent ex Mercedes mechanic in the area now working out of a railway arch or back of a van, please do let me know. just found this... yes, it was a truly a great night and I was excited (very sad I know) to try and guess who was who from their sign in names...I couldnt believe how many people their were either. I dont think I got the chance to speak to half of the people there... In case anyone knew who I was - petite girl with fringe with a very tall boy and who kept saying 'Im from the wellbeing well!'!!! Met some really lovely people... Hope to meet again at some point

yes, a record & cd store, a second hand bookstore that has comfy armchairs, with various teas/coffees and lovely treats! A few more decent restaurants that doesnt serve Indian or pubfood, an independent cinema, bicyle store, have more frequent P13 buses...oh and an intalian gelato shop!! ... that's what i want for christmas

citizen I should have asked for a profile as I did turn up but it was around 6.15pm. I had no idea who to expect and was feeling a bit unsure going up to each individual and asking if they were from the forum!!!! H
