NOOOOOOO! we have really cool orange old phone from berlin, so it wont be working soon? buggrriit! It will seem a bit pretentious to have it merely as an ornament. very disappointed.

I was meaning more whether you have to have a residents permit or not. I used to live in Brixton and you couldnt park anywhere without a residents permit even if there were no yellow lines. The signs gave the impression that at a certain time at weekends you could park but you would still get a ticket regardless!

I really need to log out in future!

It is the probably the biggest question in life... how do I collect one hundred and twenty points from the CORPORATION ? who should be the first to go ? [azul pretending to be tina]

I don't have a car so am ignorant of parking in the area but a friend wants to visit and stay over at the weekend and bring her car. Do I need to get a visitors permit for her to park in the street? (dont have a driveway either, sigh)or can you just park?

Can I recommend 6 music as a radio station to you brendan, its a digital radio station that never and I mean never plays crap music (just avoid sat afternoon around 2pm with john holmes who is a twat and sundays are more chat with steven merchant than music but other than that it is all good). It plays up and coming bands but some dj's particularly the ones on weekday evenings like mark riley play a really good mix of old and new indie stuff and also some completely random music. There are always live sessions on in the weekday evenings too. Most of the dj's are or used to be in bands so are into music proper. I hardly watch tv anymore now because of it. If you dont have a dab radio, get one or you can get it on freeview and online.

thanks folks I have the tiniest balcony though and am trying to grow bluebells in a pot so not much room for a wormery but I will ask down at the allotments tx
-
azul, 6 music, chocolate, fidel and siouxsie (and thats just keeping myself to the confines of my flat)
-
God I am almost embarrassed to be asking re this, obviously I read the guardian too much heheh. I live in a flat yet feel I should be putting all my veg cuttings etc to use. The flat is small so my own composter even a small one isnt an option. Also I think my cats might topple it on a regular basis. Anyway I want to know if anyone knows of a communal composting system in the area. Or if anyone has an allotment and wants people's veg waste. Maybe its a stupid question.

I want to know where the staff go to work when they are let go as they play great music. 72 was worth going into just for that although I love everything else about it too. Am gutted it is closing as it was one of the reasons we were able to tear ourselves away from brixton. All the other bars are a bit too "nice" and souless. LL will be the worse for it.

hopefully wales win it. they deserve it. same players different team. Ireland were woeful today.

anyone watching the ireland v wales match tomorrow? I wanna watch it but am not sure where it will be on as apparantly there is some important footie on. can I gloat and say I am going the the ireland v england match at twickenham. Screamed with joy when I found out. Mate who I got the ticket through plays for a team in Ireland and he knows some of the players so we may well be in the pub with them after the game either celebrating or commiserating. SOOOOOOOO happy. Happily have a pint with O'Driscoll. That fella can drink, so just the one!
