I still get peeved when people don't use their indicators... (hardly ANYONE uses their indicators these days!!) but I don't lose the rag...
  2. -Unless you want to cycle home without a bike seat on the way back... may be pretty painful. on a separate note, why does East Dulwich Train Station have that stupid bike cupboard/storage thing... that would be more useful if it was in Peckham however...
  3. Thanks everyone! I got the ticket! I went to the row of shops next to Goose Green but he was out of the stamper thing, well I don't know what it was because I didn't really understand him but he said he had no travel cards, just oyster card top ups. So I went down to opposite East Dulwich Station and got it there... Thanks, you's are all life savers!
  4. Hi All, I need to buy a travel card tonight for early tomorrow morning! Does anyone know where i can pick one up this evening? East Dulwich Area. Really hope someone can help me out!!!

  12. Hahahaha... I was going to start a thread about them myself! I was woken up also, I wonder what they were looking for and I think there may have been more than one...
  13. Are they targetting all car types or just flashy cars?
  14. Yeah, but since the FHT opened up, residents on that street may be getting twitchy and maybe they're taking precautions? B)
  15. I think the reason it's called Forest Hill Tavern, is because it's on Forest Hill Road...
  16. I reckon some Resident of Marmora Road put the signs up with the hopes of trying to deter any criminal activity... Maybe...B)
  17. very very loud on Friday night... very abusive language too, it's bad enough being woken up but when you're woken up by really abusive language and someone having an argument, it's no joy. I would get over the drunken singing and loud cheering etc, but there seems to be a rough crowd that hang out in that place - Gives that stretch of road a bad reputation.

  19. My good deed: I was cycling past a lady who dropped a HUGE wad of folded up fifty pound notes, must have been a grands worth. She proceeded to walk into her flat leaving the fifty pound notes swaying in the wind on the pavement. I shouted "you dropped your money" and she turned and shieked and ran towards the notes. It all happened in a flash and I was already at the bottom of the street before she could respond. But I looked back to make sure she heard me and I saw her pick them up. B) See? There are some nice people in London.
  20. I was a good samaritan a few weeks ago on Nunhead Lane. I didn't get a thread dedicated to me . . . boo hoo!(td)
  21. Wow, that's mad. I saw two copperz with machine guns standing calmly outside a house on one of those street off Ivydale, i think it was Limesford Road or one of those. There were no cop cars or vans or anything, just two policemen waiting outside someones house - imagine coming home to them... hmmmm... wonder what was going on... did anyone else see them?
  22. It's seriously cramped. More cramped than ever before. Whilst waiting in the queue I see people breathing on the bakery delights - think of this next time you sink your teeth into your cinnamon swirl pastry... I saw a man's dreadlock poke a raisin out of a danish pastry too... :X
  23. I have been spat at and shat at but never mugged. A hoodie tried to grab my phone as I was walking & talking on one of those streets behind the Police Station, can't remember the exact one, but I find it's a bit dodgy around there...especially at night, not AS safe as the main drag, but that's understandable I suppose. About a year or so ago, there were a few of those Police Signs around the place, one for sexual assault on Barry Road area and another one for robbery etc... lately it seems quiet enough, although I think the copperz are not putting those signs out anymore, I heard that through the grapevine...
