The large Co-Op store on the same side as Londis was certainly there in 1970-71 as I worked there in the cashiers department on loan from the large store in Peckham. I think its now an estate agent

The steak house in Camberwell was called The Rochester. Also remember Never on a Sunday, it was a good steak and fish restaurant but only for special occasions, as previously said we did not eat out so often in those times. -

Another elite shoe shop was round the corner from Jones & Higgins near the pie & mash shop Spencers, opposite BHS was a clothes shop called Worth, they also had an Etams. -
He has donated the book to Library's so people don't have to buy it.

Baxter Hoare Travel agents are behind Borough Market Borough SE1. We have always gone with Princess Cruises not cheap but you get what you pay for the food is fab. As it's your first I would suggest you speak with a travel agent even if you don't book with them. It's a lot of money so you want to get it right.
