  1. This thread just won't work. I people feel the need to alert people to something a new thread is appropriate.

    Bees swarming

Yes, heard the news this week that there are now too many hives in London as there isn't enough for them to forage. Apparently it should be something like 1 hive per 5 sq km.
  3. It was an excellent doc last night and v excited about next week's as we live on CG!
  4. I'd definitely use it - great idea!

What a load of nonsense. The OP is right, it doesn't matter how long or short a passenger's journey is, the drivers should be doing their jobs, rather than setting a very bad example to young people about how to treat others. Personally I think the OP should get up a bit earlier and walk but there's no excuse for such rudeness from some of the drivers.

It's a bit early for them other than online. SHould be able to get them from May or so.
  9. No you can't buy anything from the window display.
  10. Is this to do with the window display at the St Christopher Hospice shop?
  11. The crossings are necessary. That is all.
  12. Hit and run apparently. Charming.
  13. Out of interest, why no over-35s?

Allow others to make their own minds up, at least James is engaging with people.
  16. Buddug - nobody's interested in your agenda, the vast majority of people here seem to appreciate much of what James B posts here.

Some version of this I reckon!

If Verona's your preference you might as well stick the kettle on and have a Maxwell House. Starbucks is the most depressing experience a coffee drinker can have!
  22. Nero is the only place that serves vaguely decent coffee. An independent cafe, serving really high quality coffee would be very welcome. British people are almost as bad as Americans in accepting substandard coffee.
  23. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That's a shame if it's true. It's definitely true. A simple google search will show you there's been quite a lot of controversy about it recently. It would be great if an organisation like this could use their position to do some good in this area but so far they're refusing to shift their stance and are quite entrenched in their homophobia. Ironic really because there's little that is gayer than someone in uniform shaking a tambourine!

Maxxi's link explains. Nice of them to tolerate gay people as long as they deny themselves a normal, healthy relationship.
  25. They do good work, it's true but they perpetuate homophobia, so my money goes elsewhere.
