  2. Maybe it's been moved here because the mods feel you should worry about more important things?
  3. Ha! Ok - I was keen to make the point but I'm not going to(martyr) myself over it. I realise now with Heinzsight that was wrong.

  5. I'm with David above - The Wolsley is great for this.
  6. I hope they ketchup with the offenders. How saucy of them. They must have some bottle.

Having a tough time (for completely understandable reasons) most certainly does NOT make you a wimp. It's obvious you're far from it. I wish you all the very best.
  8. Would people stop mentioning the working classes. Ghastly people.

Top man. Indeed generally those who moan about people being PC have some rather dodgy opinions, as demonstrated above.

An unrelated post about your discomfort about a gay man isn't helpful in the context of this thread, or in any context for that matter.
  11. Bus to Denmark Hill then it is 17 mins to Farringdon on the Thameslink.
  12. rahrahrah Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The new 'routemasters' are awful. Please, no > campaigning. I agree. If there was a campaign to reinstate the old routemasters I'd sign up but the new ones are nothing special at all. I'd rather they concentrate on a better service to be honest.
  13. Is this about M&S?
  14. The North?! How ghastly.
  15. I'm going to wait til there's an M&S. Much classier shoplifting to be had there.
  16. As grabby as this is (and boy are Easyjet grabby), there's nothing out of the ordinary about any of this. If you want to change a booking you can expect any airline to shaft you but to expect Easyjet to be kind about it is a bit like jumping in a pool of piranhas and complaining about being bitten.
  17. Agree a good independent sushi restaurant would go down well. So would a vietnamese restaurant. Not a chain though please!

    Istanbul

Last time we stayed at the Rast Hotel - very central and pretty reasonable. Istanbul isn't huge but you really should stay in this central area (Sultanahmet) so you can walk everywhere.

  20. I don't think we need any more details do we? Why are people so ghoulish about things like this?
  21. Is this to do with the new M&S?

  23. Shocking. My credit card bill actually lists very purchase I've made with said card. It's a scandal!

All of the publicity about the redevelopment is very clear that step-free access is one of the main things they are doing.
