She hasn't/doesn't live in either of those places (although not far.) She is fab though.

A friend used to think the first line of "You're the One That I Want" from Grease was "I got shoes, they're multiplying." The best one though is a friend that thought the last line of the chorus to "Billie Jean" was "But cherries are not my style..."

Jay's jewellers are great. On Hatton Garden. They did a really good deal on making platinum rings for our civvy p. Very helpful and reasonable.

I didn't claim to possess knowledge of any scientific research, you did. I know a large number of people that this diet has worked for, whether it's a scientifically proven diet is beside the point - it does work.

Stop it. It's too sexy....

Quite easily the best pop tune for some time. And yes, mainly due to Nile Rodgers. Did ya see the BBC4 doc about him a couple of weeks ago? He is incroyable....

Dulwichcookie's tenacity re his/her grey filing cabinet is quite impressive. Maybe give it to charity?

And a "health magazine"? Neither of these amount to "science", soz.

Yes, people forget that weight loss isn't the main aim of the fasting diet. It's the all round health benefits that are the point.

No - don't have to be consecutive. Apparently better if they're not cos your metabolism slows down if you do 2 in a row.

Ps - lost a stone Oct-Dec. put it all back on over Christmas, now half a stone down again. Probably not trying hard enough.
-
We've done it on and off since Oct. works a treat but some days it's v dull and I get sad and want to eat one of our cats. Agree though, next day I'm fine and not too desperate for food. And the cats are still with us so something's going right.

I think you're taking this all a bit too literally and seriously Strafer Jack. Chill out, have some pulled pork or a Vietnamese bun!

Well forgive me for having an opinion on an internet forum, I was under the impression that this was acceptable. If not then I'm not sure I see the point of it. "Spout lies and insinuations.."? That's somewhat overstated really now isn't it? I don't think the trend for street food will suffer much for my cynicism about its quality/price. I'm hardly Jay rayner but I don't think he's been sued too often for having an opinion about food! I suggest you look at your previous CAPITALISED post and then you'll see what I'm referring to. As far as I can see I haven't made it personal on this thread with anyone I've disagreed with until your temper got the better of you and you went on the attack. Terrifying to think how you might be when discussing something serious! Take a few deep breaths....

You seem to be awfully upset that not everyone shares your opinion. My advice would be to get over it, I have.

It is highly amusing to see how easily Louisa winds people up. Meanwhile, here is a picture of a van. Get one of these and you can sell any old s*@*t for ?8-12 out of the side of it and people will say it's "heavenly."

Unfortunately nobody bothers to spell her name correctly.

I think the popcorn is for humans (unless ED dogs are now falling for the street food fad too, whcih is quite possible.)

You're very welcome :-)
