Tusk has realised how screwed we are, now that there's unequivocal evidence of Corbyn's desire for Brexit, so he's not pretending any more. He is 100% accurate. The BBC's misreporting of this is very telling indeed.
  2. Maybe try doing what the lollipop man asks? He'll have been told to do that for a reason.
  3. That's the sort of wood that is the problem though. People should only be using kiln dried wood. evildrwallace Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'd have to agree with the OP Goldilocks on this > one. 4. We don't need another thread for this.

Bottom line is that Brexit is a ruinous idea. If it goes through we are in serious trouble. The only people who could possibly think it worthwhile are bankers or racists.
  6. As I said earlier, this is peak ED Forum. The OP and Cella being the winners thus far.
  7. That place has never had any atmosphere. A typically depressing boozer.

would purport to be 'better' than", which I think speak for themselves really. Yes, I've read all the "reasons" to leave and I'm not convinced by any of them. I do think reform is needed though. 9. That particular poster appears to have a few issues, judging by a brief glance at their posting history. Probably best not to feed the troll. rendelharris Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > cella Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > > There seems to be an air from some > > posters of needing to stay out of it if shop > staff > > don't seem bothered. > > How about staying out of it if the shop's official > policy is that people are allowed to put their > shopping in their own bags instead of baskets or > trolleys? > > > You also cannot say with any > > certainty that no theft took place. > > Even BusyBody admitted that they saw the person > paying for their items at the checkout. 10. I don't know if there are any scientifically proven studies which show that Rescue Remedy works, I do know that it works for me. I fully admit that this could be a placebo effect but if it works then I'll use it.

Believe me, I've looked very hard indeed, almost constantly since the referendum was announced, yet still no good reasons that I've seen. I have however seen many similar posts to yours. Angry and defensive. I have yet to come across anyone who voted leave who has a good reason for doing so. 14. What an odd comment. It's a shame if my phraseology doesn't pass muster for you but I find it quite difficult to give two hoots what you think. cella Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > edcam Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Thanks rendellharris for confirmation that > > although some people are clearly quite mad, at > > least Sainsbury's aren't. > > Your phraseology isn't great. > Carrying a few items to the till sounds fine to me > as it's visible. 15. Our neighbours on both sides have Southwark as freeholders and one side is having a rear side return extension and the other a roof extension. Southwark were fine with both but are being slow and less helpful about a tree which has caused ground movement affecting our house and one of the neighbours but that's another subject altogether!
  16. Thanks rendellharris for confirmation that although some people are clearly quite mad, at least Sainsbury's aren't.
  17. 18. That sounds like a right palaver Dulwich Fox.
