  1. I think the problem for Utd is the negative preparations, apparently Giggs had been practicing going up stairs and getting f all for a couple of weeks
  2. my four year old is at a stage where everything is climbing, running and jumping does anyone know of any great adventure playgrounds with rope swings etc nearby thanks
  3. Hi our son is currently in fairlawn nursery and is going to Fairlawn reception in Sept, would love to meet up let me know details and we will be there
  4. Hmmm beige suit, the name & address on the other ticket wasn't K Livingstone, alleyway near county hall?
  5. There was a software update a couple of weeks ago from sonos which has caused some problems but I think that's mainly napster related. As siduhe said it's usually firewall or other security settings, if you go into the sonos setup and remove iTunes from your library management restart then add iTunes again it should spot any security problems and give advice on what to change
  6. Don't know if it's just me but I always find the different fairs on goose green pretty disappointing. Just seems the same old stalls selling same old stuff and I have never been that desperate to find to buy a Peruvian cardigan. Maybe I'm a grumpy old man now but when I was a kid these kind of things were more about activities than shopping and wagon wheels were bigger then. The nunhead cemetery open day though is the opposite, bird of prey, live music (primarily dead audience) and a few craft style things thumbs up from me
  7. One thing i have found is that trying a different USB port on your computer can rectify loading issues if it's not being recognised. do the dongles work in other areas? I have a 3 mifi and find it works in loads of places and the good thing about it is that you can see on it's indicator what the signal strength is like and just attach too it like any wireless modem so you can leave it in a room that has better coverage etc
  8. In the playoffs they use a heart shaped ball
  9. One thing I have always found in NYC is that the quality of places can vary a lot over time quality wise don't know why this is. I haven't been but have heard great things of the spotted pig have you looked on chowhound?
  10. I remember looking into Live/Work properties some time ago and one thing that was mentioned to me is that council tax has to be spent in specific areas within central goverment guidlines but business rates could be used by the councils in more flexible ways which is why councils could favour business over housing issues. Could have been complete tosh but thats what I was told at the time.
  11. Very moving at 7:50 http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/video/Features/Margaret-Aspina-25698.php3 can't bear the thought of him in an oppositions dug out next year. YNWA
  12. One thing that always used to make me smile but doesn't happen in the age of camera phones etc was seeing someone come out of a photo shop with their holiday snaps and instantly beaming whilst sifting through them
  13. The one in Spitalfields is bigger than Vauxhall but not that varied, nowhere in there to have lunch but of course loads of places nearby. our childminder takes our son here if you can travel a little further http://www.xmastreefarm.co.uk/home.html
  14. Hi Anna you don't happen to know anyone with a spare ticket for Monday night do you?
  15. We are going to be in Penzance between the Easter and may bank holidays, we have to drive but have a day or so either side so we thought we would stop over somewhere each way to break up the journey. Anyone got suggestions of nice places worth staying at?
  16. I need help, I am pretty certain that when I was in my early teens one of the items available from the ice cream van outside my school was an ice lolly that was basically a frozen orange upper half of a voluptuous woman. I was sure that it was called a Juicy Lucy but seearches on the internet show them as normal shape. I have tried other descritions in google but Busty Lolly brings up ahem 'other things'. so was this a figment of my imagination.
  17. They all live in the park, large campervan parked behind the cafe
  18. What do you think we should put on her grave......a dancefloor
  19. No, some c##t from preston
  20. Why would a circus need a plasterer?
  21. I asked for an orange instead of a head
  22. The solution is simple, if you see someone failing to clear up after their dog, follow them home then wait until dark and curl one out on their front step. Would be interesting to find out how many penalties Southwark enforce in a year for this, not many I suspect
  23. To be honest, I think they are ok for somewhere to stay and they will probably leave for the honeymoon next day
  24. The poor fella has been shot at, kidnapped his car has been looted and burned out I hear he is now in the middle east trying to get away from all of this.
