  1. try Fulham Timber they only charge about £15 delivery whatever the order size
  2. Unfortunately I don't think you have grounds for appeal, loading only is very specific in usage, you need to be constantly loading rather than popping into a shop, paying etc it's like that for a reason, probably have to take it on the chin and pay the early 'discount'
  3. you can drop off old TVs to Curry's/PC world even without buying
  4. Zeret is amazing, run by wonderful people make sure you have the coffee ceremony at the end as well
  5. I'd highly recommend the Midi Music Company in Deptford/New Cross our son has done loads of things with them, very reasonable and great connections https://themidimusiccompany.co.uk YUAF a bit further afield but v good too https://www.yuaf.org Lewisham Music https://lewishammusic.org Yeah Youth https://www.yeahyouth.uk Shay who runs this is brilliant youth leader with fingers in loads of pies, kids end up being invited to gigs/events and she know so many people in the industry load of these above are often criminally undersubscribed which is a real shame. Good luck finding something
  6. A bit further but It’s Proper Jerk in Sydenham is excellent, jerk pork dirty fries!!!!
  7. there's one near Bell green in Sydenham
  8. The one in Peckham Pulse used to by quite grotty but not been there in a while, the pool at Brockwell lido has steam room sauna and a hydrotherapy pool. and I think Glassfuls also has steam room
  9. Another recommendation for Suzanne James - the best!
  10. hi I need to take a van of goods to France and the online advice for form filling are driving me nuts! has anyone used a local customs agent to do this for them? thanks
  11. It's annoying as it's a weight restriction based on the maximum load carrying capacity of the van. the signposting is confusing
  12. I would say the easiest solution would be for the person who hires the bike has to take a photo of the bike in it’s final parked position within the app. Some of the parking seems a bit suspect to me maybe people opposed to these schemes have on occasion moved them?
  13. There's a guy who setup a bakery in his garage in Catford a few years ago, the Panettone is amazing I have seen him sell on Toogoodtogo but all I can see online is https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063646053307
  14. there's also a nice small one on Catford Bridge and a very big new Longdan in Lewisham/Ladywell
  15. there's some interesting developments in dual use panels that have both electrical generation and then hot water underneath, from what I have seen this makes the electrical side more efficient as it draws heat away from the cells
  16. Hi Brideshead, there was a really interesting article about lack of newspapers in libraries in the Guardian this week you may want to take a look
  17. I am sure there is one that is based at Forest Hill School
  18. Our son had a test this week as a schoolmate was tested positive, the test was mis-delivered and when we called to get another they said there were none available in the country to post and nowhere in the south east to get a walk in as they were all out too. She said they were overwhelmed by the amount of testing going on and it's as bad as January so I assume the labs are all on backlog.
  19. Shannons are good but for variety but all local places seem to sell more established plants that can be a bit pricey I just had my first delivery of plugs from organicplants.co.uk really good mixtures and all looked extremely healthy on delivery
  20. We are looking at this too, it's worth checking your insurance as a lot seem to only cover bikes in front of houses if they are locked into ground anchor and as Rocket says it seems that Asguard units seem to attract thieves as much as protect. I've decided to build something myself, the main thing is additional steel across that will be locked in place and solar lights that will be light up the inside really brightly whenever opened so hopefully this would at least slow anyone down. good luck
  21. 1st jab of AZ day after sore arm day 2 very tired, sore arm day 3 fine day 4 bad headache day 5 onwards fine
  22. Mainly because you originally posted and then edited out that you hoped her son wouldn?t get it back, pretty spiteful talk. His mum already said it hit a wall and went out of control, nothing about flying without line of site. Kids stuck indoors, missing their mates, trying to have a bit of fun, could do without your mean spiritedness.
  23. Hey Tipsy, you might want to wind that neck in a bit
  24. There?s a nice little polish shop in Sydenham near the Lidl they usually have any seasonal celebration cakes etc Otherwise theres a lovely bigger one on the strip opposite sainsburys in Crystal Palace Wesołych Świąt!
