  1. Well done both of you.
  2. We also lock the cat flap at 8ish. By then the cats are already indoors. They don't even ask to go out again. We bought an extra litter tray and now have 3 trays for two cats. The litter is changed as soon as it needs to be.
  3. If Medusa, you are on Facebook, please read the SNARL posts about the person who is killing cats and foxes. I feel we all really need to keep our cats indoors at night while there is somebody out there mutilating animals on a regular basis. Your cats will get used to being shut indoors after dark, I am sure.
  4. Actually and unusually the notices on the bus stops do mention a burst water main and that bus stops will reopen when the work has been completed.

  6. There are no buses going towards Forest Hill along Lordship Lane. I believe they are diverted via Peckham Rye and Barry Road. There is a burst water main apparently. Buses are travelling northwards along Lordship Lane.
  7. Perhaps because nobody would go to the pub because it is really dangerous crossing the road at that point?
  8. It came to me and I asked him to contact you instead.
  9. Sorry to read this. Perhaps your insurance company would pay up. I hope so.

  11. Industrial style is very on trend. Just paint all the pipes in a variety of bright colours and make a feature of them. Actually seriously I have heard many bad stories about the amounts that Southwark charges leaseholders.
  12. Perhaps you could ask the schools whose students use the 484 to lobby for more buses.
  13. I suggest putting posters in a very much wider area than you would expect to be the likely place to find your cat. Perhaps put some up in supermarkets, libraries etc as well so more people will see them. Some years ago a cat walked in on us from the opposite end of East Dulwich. It had crossed many roads including Lordship Lane, to reach our area. The owners had put posters up in the streets around their home but we didn't see these. Luckily the cat had a microchip so we were able to reunite it with its family.
  14. I read somewhere that the person only operates away from any CCTV.
  15. The other day Sainsbury's DKH had a special recycling box for them. Assume it is still there inside the doors at the end near the cash machines.
  16. Some enterprising person might be able to start a bread making class in East Dulwich teaching people to make bread that tastes of a mixture of chalk and cotton wool and lasts for six months thanks to all the preservatives in it.
  17. With our previous bath which was metal we stuffed old pillows and duvets under the bath to keep the bath water nice and hot for longer. Now we have a plastic bath and it didn't seem to need the extra help.
  18. There are, apparently, Christmas trees for sale at the car wash by Dulwich Hamlet Football Club, Dog Kennel Hill. It says they are ?10 each.i didn't look at them so I don't know the size, quality etc.
  19. The Art Fund is wonderful. It is a passport to places all over the country. The local U3a is also worth joining ?25 per person for the year. Senior rail cards?
  20. These look great. Thank you.
  21. Maybe buy a very cheap one and add stuff to it?
  22. A company called safe store is working with wrap up London and say "Coats can also be dropped off at our Clapham, Pentonville and Notting Hill Safestores until the 18th of November 2016. Our stores are typically open 8 am- 6pm Monday through Saturday with the exception of Thursdays when we are open later till 8pm AND ON Sundays from 10am - 4pm". I understand men's coats and jackets are especially needed.
  23. Great to hear.
  24. Virtually no water Beauval Road.
