  1. But I was having so much fun..... I have no kids!
  2. Yup. Clocked the grade just after I posted. Woop. Lesson 4. Don't rise to the bait.
  3. That's to say you're not trolling us all night long.....
  4. Isaiah, If you are a teacher, your grammar and spelling should be perfect. I couldn't care less if you had an iPhone or a 1999 Nokia. You would check your spelling meticulously. Yours does not even come close. I'd be worried if you taught my kids and couldn't be bothered to check your spelling on social media. Can you be bothered at work?! With regards to your daughter, she's four. I can't remember being four all too much. It's horrible to see as a parent the struggles she goes through, but as a child all will be forgotten. Besides, you are the parent and you make the decisions. Stand by them and support them. In the meantime, learn how to spell and use grammar.
  5. On my travels in Dulwich this afternoon I'd lost my precious black Rayban sunglasses, polarised to boot. Lost in between ED Rigby and Mac on North Cross Road to the Coop. If anyone finds them a handsome reward and hug ensues. Thanks!
  6. Was it off Elsie Road or somewhere near there? It stinks! All our washing is ruined is smoky. Nice. How did you manage it for future reference?
  7. Could you not just ask if they were single or not? Or is that not the done thing these days??
  8. Me and my partner laughed at this property in our search. Seriously considered it. Then laughed again. We'd probably get sea sick!! There is an awesome looking one in Canary Wharf though. Beckenham, Penge, Anerley and Clock/Kent house for us. ED is just too ridiculously expensive. 9. Dulwich Factor. Cast your votes. Dulwich is getting boring in the lounge. It's the same old dispute she moans about this, he bangs on about that, broken record. I used to be an intimidated bystander on this forum as it was witty, a tad cliquey, but hilarious. Nowadays, I'd rather read the daily mail (jokes).
  10. Heartblock I live on EDG and completely agree. It's awful. The cracks in the walls are starting show in ours and I'm starting to get a tad worried. Is there anything that can be done? The lorries that attack the ramps at speed can be quite the experience. I think these ramps are doing more harm than good. How do we complain to the council? Can we even?? ETA: by saying can we even complain I implied will it all fall on deaf ears and Conway and council not give a monkeys.....? ETA: I know the answer
  11. Thanks ed_pete. I took your advice and posted on the message board and it wasn't normal, nor is it ethical for that matter. I ended phoning ebay and they soon put a halt to that idea. Whether I get the item or not is another matter. But at least there won't be 75 other New Girl's walking the streets of the UK.
  12. I am a complete amateur at eBay. I've just bought an item on eBay for a lot of money and the seller is asking for proof of identity. A copy of passport/driving licence and utility bill. Is this normal? As you can imagine I am really reticent to just give this up. Has anyone experienced this before? Does anyone have suggestions or advice as I need the item but don't want to willing give up my details. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
  13. But surely better than bombarding them with McDonald's, KFC and the gastric band available at Harley Street adverts on the tube? A life in the gym, eating in moderation and being balanced is surely better than being overweight and ill? We'd have less people in hospital and save the NHS loads money if we were healthier. I take your point with girls and guys obsessing over the image and eating disorders are also an issue and a burden on the NHS but I look at the advert and think fit inspiration. This can appeal to both spectrums.
  14. I'm interested to hear what people think (for some reason unbeknown to me). There's a lot of controversy and I don't understand why. We live in a society where obesity is kind of accepted these days what with plus size clothing and gastric bands being routine. But obesity is a killer and costs the NHS thousands of pounds so promoting a healthy lifestyle should surely be encouraged? The model isn't waif thin like catwalk models and obviously invests a lot of time in a healthy lifestyle and her body. Please don't get me wrong and think I'm 'fat shaming' or hate fat people, I don't. I understand we also live in a society where convenience foods and takeaways are in our faces and can become easier and addictive. I was just curious as to what people think.
  15. If you've parked your VW Golf on Tell Grove, maroon, reg beginning X94 I think, you've left your lights on!
  16. HMB you beat me to it every time. I was just going to post nail gate and you beat me to it with the Japanese restaurant. I'm just too slow!!
  17. Has anyone been playing Alien Isolation? I've just watched my other half play it and I'm white faced and clammy. Feck is that a scare!
  18. Thanks uncleglen. Don't suppose anyone's been today to pick up stuff?
  19. 'He's dipped his dick in the Moulinex now' had me chuckling for hours.
  20. Aldi. Give it a rub and it's homemade :)
  21. What amazing advice random bloke. That was quite the comprehensive post. Thanks for your time, I've learnt a lot!!!
  22. I don't have coeliac's but I do have quite severe IBS and have been told to cut out gluten and dairy and have done for about 5 years. It's not easy it first, in fact I lived on salads for the first 3 years. Fantastic for my waistline not so great for my bodies essential needs. There is now a plethora of gluten free choices and everyone seems to want to join the sans gluten bandwagon, coeliacs or not. A good source of carb like foods are quinoa, amaranth grains, brown rice, rice noodles and gluten free pastas. Quinoa and amaranth (available in supermarkets, whole foods, or amazon) are cooked like rice - boil for 10-15 minutes possibly longer. Feel free to add spices, herbs, lemon juice or leave plain like couscous. Just drain and serve with salads, tagines, grilled fish or meat. Buckwheat is gluten free and you can make porridge out if this and flour is also available. Again look at amazon for this. My favourite is courgette pasta. Cut thin strips out of your courgette, balance for a 90 seconds or so, or gently fry in a pan and serve with your favourite bolognaise sauce. As for flours you can have rice, buckwheat, quinoa and many more. I tried to make bread with rice flour and it was awful. If I find and perfect a decent recipe I will let you know. I have all kinds of recipes - cauliflower pizza base (yep you better believe it!), quinoa variations, salads, stews and much more. There is a lot of information and websites out there. I could go on all night but I'll stop here. I hope that helps :)
  23. I have, a couple of years ago. I only had my bonet over it as I realised last minute but managed to cross the yellow line and I wasn't far off. I got the fine a few weeks later. You might get lucky as in recent years they're trying to kerb the money that councils are making on this but it is a yellow box junction so it is a sure fire money maker.
  24. Haha. I didn't even notice :)
