  1. Hi My daughter goes to Bojangles nursery on Upland. She doesn't go on a Wednesday but another parent has told me that they are going into liquidation and closing by end of the month. Anyone have more info or any experience of how this may pan out? Chances of rescue etc? Thanks.
  2. Every Friday throughout August from 1-4pm. I only found it by chance as was walking past at the right time. My 2 year old loved it and there were other older kids there too - but not very many which is why im giving it a quick plug. Haven't seen it advertised. A man called Prince Jah just brings lots of stuff for the kids to paint - week before last we painted on linen bags to take home, last week it was planks of wood. Free.
  3. heaven forbid some loud noise like music, fireworks, people enjoying themselves on a saturday night. tsk. whatever next??
  4. oh no. my toes are curled and my bum is clenched in embarrassment for you misinterpreted. what possessed you??
  5. it's true, could go somewhere else, but often in a hurry and don't have time to go the individual shops to get everything i need. however have to agree that somerfield really is utterly sh1te. queued for 40 minutes this week (2pmish, not peak time) with 2 toddlers. oh the fun. but i guess the only way to change things is to not go back until it improves...
  6. boring, unoriginal and boring again betsy555
  7. erm, i'm a mum, and i have a 3 wheeled pram, and yet i think it's wrong for people to pick daffs, wouldn't do it myself or let my children do it. so how does this fit with the fairly awful generalising going on on this thread? or should i simply not rise to the bait??
  8. Family friendly would be good - that means highchairs available, changing facilities, kids menu or portions and even little packets of crayons and colouring pads, or similar (both cafe rouge and carluccios always give kids some little bit of nonsense to play with and it helps keep things quiet for those who don't like to sit in restaurants where there are kids and families). On that note, possibly have a family section and a section for those who don't want to sit near kids etc. Always seems a shame to me that it upsets some people's dining experience to be near families (I think/hope the mum changing child on the table episode was fairly exceptional!!) but can also understand that everyone is entitled to enjoy a meal in their own way, so maybe separate sections would be a good idea?
  9. i know you don't work for foxtons. if you spent as much time trying to sell my house as you seem to spend putting entries on the edf, who knows? you might have sold it by now. does your manager know how many entries you post during working hours each week? sorry you got your tyres slashed though.
