i have a bell on my bike and i often worry that that will startle and cause someone to jump out of the way. yes cyclists are defensive cause lets face it they dont get any support. i have had more near misses as a cyclist than as a motorist. people dont look for us or give any consideration to our space on the road. and to the person who things most dog owners keep their dogs under control has clearly been living in dulwich too long. most dog owners dont pick up after their dog and certainly dont keep them on a lead in a public place as per law.

i'm not in australia as i'm waiting for them to recruit in my current field and then only money for flights and paying off debts here would stop me. its actually not that easy to get a visa in australia when you are over 30

bit of a rant. i've lived in east dulwich for awhile now but i must say i have noticed that we in east dulwich do seem to moan for something to do almost. today we met in peckham rye for a bit of a jog and we were just going to have a quick stretch before moving on before some busy body said we should use the grassy area. now we werent blocking the path, anyone could walk through. we spent more time on the path than we would have done because of her complaining. so people of east dulwich, i ask you, do we moan for the sake of it?
