I'd echo the sentiments above. I discovered Dave through the forum several years ago and only recently took the decision to get in touch with him. I only wish I'd done it sooner.
Some info about me: I’m 45 years old, have two children and I live in Peckham. I started working with Dave back in April, doing a couple of sessions a week. I wanted to work with a trainer as I’ve neglected my health and fitness a bit over the past few years. I work in a busy job, often from home so it’s easy to become complacent and gradually slip into bad habits. Over the years I’ve gone in and out of exercise routines - playing football (which I struggle to do regularly), running, aerobics/online workouts, but nothing has ever really stuck.
Working with Dave has been transformational - he’s really good at pushing me whilst still keeping it fun. I don’t respond to being yelled at, which is why I’d never really pursued gym sessions in the past, but Dave is very calm and explains the various exercises really clearly. Knowing why I’m doing something really helps me stay motivated. I’d recommend Dave to anyone interested in improving their strength and fitness - his advice around nutrition has helped me make some easy changes that are having results. I’ve lost a few kilos, stopped drinking alcohol during the week and feel better about myself.
