  1. btw - I had some "snacks freebies". Delicious.
  2. Development plan: a brief description here: http://www.rightrelevance.com/search/articles/hero?article=63a432240e35596171f885ff1ff9bc5977b305b5&query=commercial%20real%20estate&taccount=cre_rr
  3. tbh I bought a 3rd party router and it seems to have solved 99% of my virgin issues - e.g. the issues was the wireless reception in my house more than anything.
  4. FYI - the new proposed... https://consultation.lgbce.org.uk/node/5979
  5. I'd be very excited to have one of these directly in front of my house!
  6. JAPS is wonderful! Entrance exam - I think if you can keep you and your child happy and unstressed and relaxed on the day of the exam, that goes miles! I'd recommend doing some "extra" entry exams (e.g. applying for a few more schools) before doing the ones for the schools you really want. Good Luck!
  7. I'm assuming this was the Grove Vale incident that had traffic blocked a week or so ago... http://news.met.police.uk/news/southwark-man-charged-with-rape-136368?utm_campaign=send_list&utm_medium=email&utm_source=sendgrid
  8. The roads are open and running normally now..
  9. On the car front - we gave ours up two years ago - with a combination of buses, bikes, tubes, trains, and the occasional rented car, life goes on. We have two kids. It is not "completely impractical" -- other ways become the norm and easy quite quickly. To be honest, I expected we would break down and buy a car eventually but we are fine. I know it is not for everyone, but, it is less impossible than you think - I really was daunted by the prospect for sure!
  10. I LOVE the idea (above) of de-packaging things that are overly packaged at the shop. I tend to avoid buying anything overly packaged as I do stuff everything in two bike panniers... There is this German supermarket that does not do packaging -- http://www.businessinsider.com/german-grocery-store-that-doesnt-waste-2014-7?IR=T
  11. Utterly pleasant. Had an awesome cheese platter and very good ales. Decent bottle of wine too. Very much recommended.
  12. No - I used to work at the club but am currently just a full-time parent - not employed. I have no idea.
  13. To be honest, I occasionally hear noise from the constitution club into the early hours but given that it is usually a wedding or family celebration on a weekend evening I overlook it as it does not happen terribly often and seems a bit spoil sport as we all have important occasions in our lives. How about a little tolerance given that it is not a regular occurrence? Also - it is possible they may have applied for an extension past their licensed hours?
