  1. There's a good one at Wimbledon
  2. My daughter was born there in 1983... It was a lovely maternity wing
  3. I remember the roof of my garden shed blew off. Have no idea where it ended up as I never saw it again. And cars crushed by fallen trees
  4. my daughter babysits at ?8ph.... ?5 is just not cutting it also its classed as unsociable hrs..she always gets dropped home or paid for taxi .... Otherwise I'm willing to pick her up as it's usually local... She babysits for very nice families..you have good reason to question it..
  5. To be honest the play area is not used that often... When it was caged in so to speak the residents on the opposite side of Lytcott Grove were'nt even given keys to enter, we were told it wasn't for that side of the road...it's a joke... Why don't they give us new kitchens or bathrooms like all the other estates are getting.... What happen to the decent homes scheme.... Twice I've had visits from contractors that even had me choose which colour kitchen I preferred Haven't set eyes on them since and that was quite a few years ago.why don't you do something about that Robin ??
  6. I myself have lived here for 32 years and I couldn't agree more..the railings are awful and everything else I have the same thoughts as yourself... Also I don't remember any consultation concerning the erection of these railings
  7. Not whingeing Marmora man just merely saying I was shocked at the difference in prices.
  8. I'm a jack Daniels drinker and I can't believe spirited wines on Lordship Lane. Are charging ?30 and change for a bottle and all the other establishments are charging between ?22 & 23 ..... Where do they get off charging just over ?30 for a bottle of Jack Daniels...
  9. Can't understand why these low life still keep stealing phones ..... Especially iPhones get locked off imeadiately. Are they thick or what
  10. As an ofsted registered minder in East Dulwich I charge ?55 per day. The parents bring absolutely nothing but the child and a change of clothes. I provide nappies wipes fruit drinks snacks lunch and evening meals. I've always had brilliant parents with no complaints. I charge for hols but not when I'm sick. I don't charge for unexpected days off either although they are few and far between. I've been minding for 10yrs and have never had a problem with my policies and terms and conditions... I think it's pretty standard if you are contracted for Mondays then that day is paid for
  11. @jennylane .....I mean I must not have been at home when these sniffer dogs came as I have never seen them in 33yrs of living on Lytcott Grove
  12. I've lived on Lytcott Grove for 33yrs and have never seen police with sniffer dogs round here..... I must have been out..... At the car wash maybe .... Not anymore I shall be using the one at the bottom of my road so I won't miss a thing
  13. Yes mind yur business. If it weren't for David Cameron maybe a lot more people people would have jobs and not have to resort to making ends meet somehow or another.... I'm sure he kept an eye on his children.... And as t3-dul said we may not all be as fortunate as you....... MIND YOUR BUISNESS
  14. They must be professionals...from what I've read on here it always seems to be HSBC. Yes her bank will reimburse the money it's still very annoying.
  15. My daughter went to the HSBC cashpoint last night around 9.15 and it swallowed her card... And gave her no money... The machine said there was a fault... She returned home and rang her bank and when she checked her acct this morning within 10 minutes a considerable amount had been withdrawn. I can't understand why the banks haven't got on top of this yet.. She covered her pin as usual but I guess whoever came along and retrieved the card somehow and had a field day.. However the bank is sorting it out but it seems to be happening too frequent out on The Lane now...
  16. A friend of mine had a not nice experience there. Took his child out.
  17. To the kind person that returned my 17 year old daughters oyster and driving licence. Thank you very much, it's really nice of you to post it back to us.. Thanks again
  18. I've lived on Lytcott for almost 33yrs. It's changed a lot like everywhere else but there's nothing wrong with it.
  19. Temporary childcare available Posted by maritap Yesterday, 06:08PM I'm an ofsted registered childminder based in East Dulwich and can offer a temporary placement from end of May till 14th August. I already have placements secured for September. Pm if I can be of any use. I can provide excellent refs both written and verbal and have been minding for 9yrs and previously worked at a local primary school. Thanks.
  20. She supported aparthied i have no tears for her
  21. Disgusting is an understatement. I saw right through them when they gave that news conference. I thought he was an arrogant b*****d when I saw him on Jeremy Kyle a few years ago.Hope they get a lengthy sentence.
  22. Check it out if your not happy. I went to kings for an appt a few weeks ago and parked in a spot I've always parked in with my Blue Badge. When I came out I had a ticket. I contested it and they cancelled it. Normally I don't follow things thru but as I knew I'd always parked there I had to look into it. There were no prohibited signs so I was determined. Good luck
  23. The police were walking up and down Lytcott yesterday, I'm guessing just after the incident as they asked if anyone saw a couple of guys. It's not too far from Shawbury Rd.
