Hya, Just had a quote for ?1700 for cafe style white wooden shutters for our bay window in the lounge. Make in the UK (which I like idea of). Seems pretty steep but we do need to get it sorted soon (we have nothing at window & they can fit end Feb). We just had a kitchen extension done by Marvin & Nic from Sky High builders and we couldn't be happier. It was a 5 month job, with us living in the house throughout with a new baby and toddler, half the back of the house was ripped off though the winter, we expected it to be a nightmare, but they were so brilliant, they made it hardly stressful at all. And the end result - with bifold doors and sky lights etc - looks stunning. You can get 10 quotes, but they all end up being about the same in the end, so best to spend your money with a good bloke you can trust.
