It's quite possible a story about the East Dulwich Forum's weekend exploits may have been sneaked into tomorrow's South London Press... 50p from all good newsagents...

Piers - yeah I know, it's very "low tech". I just write it, take that up with the web monkeys. Brendan - will be changed!

Keef Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Oh and with regards my eyes, I am indeed > registered partially sighted, but I can see the > length of the wicket, so doesn't really make a > difference when bowling... Batting and catching on > the other hand... :-$ Oh Keef, Keef, Keef I'm a journalist and I'm going to ham it up bigtime - in the same way I would for my paper. For the purposes of this match report you're going to be more blind than Stevie Wonder in a darkened room with a blindfold on, shortly after he's had molten iron poured into his eye sockets...

Forgot about that bail breaking throw - I think the forces of gravity had a lot to do with it though!

Cheers.

(for the match report) Anyone know what M Coultart's first name is and A Frith, J Whitcombe and that guy we supplied who was really good - M Bailey???

Cracking game boys - that was awesome. I was a bit worried you'd either have loads of really good players like Dems or no good players at all. In the end though it turned out to be a well matched game. I reckon if you'd taken another wicket towards the end - if Dems had caught that catch off Keef! - you probably would've won. The stars of the game were in no order Martin (awesome batting and bowling), Giles (an incredible 45 and good keeping), Jamie Keating (brave and stubborn batting to see us through) and Keef (who really should have taken three or four wickets). I'm writing up the match report now (in between bouts of doing my job...) and it should be on the website today. Expect many references to Keef taking wickets despite being partially sighted!

Ok, I'll inform my lot that some of your team go by the names of "fear'n'boozin" and "floating onion".

There's some bizarre counting going on there Ed.

Feel free to contribute if you want of course, however there'll be enough grub to go around for players and fans.
-
Don't worry about tea guys - we'll provide all the food and squash. Think we'll have to charge ?5 match fee each to cover the cost of hiring the ground etc. If you want tins bring some though. Just looked at the weather - it's going to be dry. Might be a bit nippy on the sidelines though so bring a jumper.
-
There's a short match preview on the news page too. It's not going to rain - and if it does we're going to carry on regardless!
-
Weather's looking a bit iffy - sun and light showers. However, I hope we're all going to display our characteristic British stubbornness and refuse to bow to the weather. The forecast may well change anyway.

Too little too late boys - don't do yourself any damage...
