I’d like to recommend Andy - he came and fixed a leak to our hot water tank a while ago - he came quickly, did a great job and it was a reasonable price! More recently he went to fix a blockage at my daughters flat - came quickly, fixed the problem and it was a reasonable price again!

We came for brunch today - food and drinks were delicious, staff were lovely and the decor and ambience very relaxing. -

If your child is currently in year 11 and intends to study A level Economics next year,is bored and wants to get a head start then I am currently running 1:1 sessions online. Alternatively if your child is in year 12 and wants support with their A level then I can help with lessons, revision and assessment. These are unprecedented times and crucial that students understand what is happening within the economy.

Scumbag playing loud music on Worlingham road
whirly replied to se22cat's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It wasn't 32 today, but 68A (the one in the corner which had building work going on for 5 plus years, often blocking Crawthew) sometimes plays his music at full blast. So loud there is no hope of him hearing us shouting to turn it down. -
Rang about a blocked toilet and they came round 15mins later! Very efficient - thanks.

French student wanting host family from September
whirly replied to whirly's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Forgot to say that he will be paying. Anyone with a spare room needing some extra cash?! -
My friend's nephew is looking to stay with a host family in London for the next academic year. He is 22 years old and will be spending the next year of his course - his fourth year - at the London campus in order to improve his English and discover London and the UK. The drawback is that most of the students in that campus will be French like him, so he would like to be in a host family for that year in order to improve his English. If you are interested, please PM me.

My 14yo son goes to the one by Dulwich Caf? and the Trinity Hospice shop on Lordship Lane. He always comes back very pleased with the cut. I think it's ?9, but he says he always tells the barber to keep the change!

Another recommendation for Steve - he came round promptly and diagnosed that we needed a new dishwasher asap, then came back once it had been delivered to fit it. Excellent service, thanks!

Maths, Eng Lit and Lang, Science (core/double/triple depending on the child), RE, ICT, Citizenship, a language and a Humanities, plus 2 options. PE lessons are compulsory, but the GCSE is not. If you take PE as an option, you actually get double the PE lessons! I would prefer for them to not do the ICT/Citizenship and choose one other subject instead.
