I have a sofa to give away, but it will need to be collected by the end of this weekend. It's a Dwell Oslo. 220cms in length. Good condition, other than a slight water mark which will fade and a slight paint mark on the side. Please DM me if you're interested or want come and have a look. Thanks. I'm in West Dulwich. -
Keith and his son have just completed repairs to my garden wall - replaced bricks, facing and sealed. A great job done. Friendly, cleaned up afterwards and finished on time. I couldn't have asked for a better job.

One more to throw into the pot: The Pontefract Castle in the Cellar Bar - St Christopher's Place/Wigmore Street. I've booked here before, choose your own music, no venue hire, no minimum spend, candle lit, comfy sofas, reasonably priced drinks and food. Good luck!

Virginmedia broadband issues (in East Dulwich)

So are BT. I've been a life long user of BT thinking they would improve. When I tried to move my BT a month ago to my new address they cancelled my order with no explanation, and no apology - first available date for the engineer scheduled for March (that was bad enough), then I was told it would be April. I was told I would have to put up with it or go elsewhere. So Virgin Media it is - it's being installed next week! -
I lived in Sunbury on Thames in the 70's & my father kept and bred these Green Parakeets along with other types of birds. Yes they are very noisy, that's why he let them go!

Steve I agree with Clare... hang in there It's all new to me too having just moved around here after 26 years in North London (no booing please!) but it's good for finding out what's going on and has been really helpful in finding somewhere to live. oh, and saw Emily Joyce in Sainsburys - she is one of those intriguing natural beauties... well I think so (google comes in handy at this point!)
