  1. 1996 was a great year all round for me. It was when I first started to really appreciate football, particularly internationals and I went camping for the first time with my mates during a gloriously hot summer.

  3. I saw what looked like a film set been unloaded on Zenoria street this morning, outside the Brickhouse. Any ideas what's being shot? I couldn't ask as was on a bus.

  14. 'Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell' is a brilliant book. A mixture of Victoriana and magic. It is a bit long but very, very engaging.

    I wasn't too enamoured by my experience of the brick house. I ordered tea & toast, got the tea first and the toast about 10 minutes later. It also tasted bizarrely salty so I bought another tea. Did I get played...
  16. I had this over Cheltenham week, was absolutely floored. Still not 100 % better now even. I suppose I saved some cash though...

  19. The old pictures of the CPT were incredible. I'd love to have experienced it back then. I'm not native to East Dulwich but it seems a great place to have grown up in.
  20. I used to like it when kebab shops had whole chickens on rotisseries. Just a thought... Bring on meatliquor though.
  21. Classic case of the broken window hypothesis. Small instances of anti-social behaviour (graffiti, fly tipping, etc.) leading to more serious problems (low level dealing) eventually leading to really big problems such as robberies.
  22. i found a visa debit card near sainsbury's by dog kennel hill this morning, the owner's surname was 'rowe'. i couldn't think of where the nearest branch of the bank was and i was in a hurry... the card is with security in sainsbury's. hope this helps.
